IVF Michigan Fertility Center – Saginaw – Reviews and Prices

I had a great experience going through the Saginaw office of IVF Michigan. They helped me overcome some fertility issues and I am forever grateful. The staff always treated me kindly and were very upfront about what I needed to do. They always made me feel very comfortable and kept me informed along the way. Sometimes daily. I have referred this office many times to others needing a little help starting their families!

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Dr. Shamma. Despite being an IVF specialist, this doctor lacks the ability to think outside the box when dealing with complex fertility issues. After multiple consultations and invasive hysteroscopies, Dr. Shamma failed to diagnose my endometriosis correctly, causing me unnecessary pain, expense, and delays. Instead of exploring all treatment options, they quickly pushed me towards surrogacy without fully investigating or addressing my underlying condition.

I felt like I was on a conveyor belt, with no personalized care or alternative solutions considered. If you’re looking for a doctor who will listen, think critically, and exhaust all possible treatments before jumping to extreme measures like surrogacy, I would strongly advise against Dr. Shamma. The lack of insight and narrow-minded approach has cost me valuable time and emotional energy. I would not recommend this practice to anyone dealing with complex fertility issues.
I now have a one year old after having a laparoscopic procedure by another expert IVF Dr. who was able to find and remove my endometriosis and I went on to naturally conceive ONE MONTH LATER. This was after 3 failed transfers with Dr Shamma and being told there was NOTHING else to be done. I continue to run into women with very similar experiences and felt the need to voice my review so maybe this will save someone the heartache me and many other women have gone through at the expense of Dr. Shamma.

Tried to call to reschedule an appointment and couldn’t get anyone on the line. Called later and was finally able to get someone to talk to me and they categorize me as a no-call no-show because they couldn’t see that I called earlier…

Called and they don’t do anything for the male side fertility just IVF so not sure why I got referred here. Guess more money in IVF than trying to see what’s up with the men that have issues. I was trying to get help to see what can be done to diagnose and possibly treat my issues instead they just kept repeating we treat through your partner zero interest into seeing if I could have my issues fixed and have a baby naturally. Completely worthless referral from my doctor to them they do nothing. Seeing as IVF is 15-30k per 1 IVF cycle I can see why they don’t care. Just go straight to IVF don’t see if it’s a simple block or variocle vein or something. The description says they treat male infertility but that’s also not true so the description needs to be updated as well.

My husband and I have been going to the Saginaw office for over 3 years, we were blessed with an amazing nursing staff that helped us get our miracle baby on our second try. Dr. Shamma listened to every need, want, and concern we had the entire journey. Kim was on call whenever I had any kind of panic, question, or needed a listening ear; I don’t’ think I would’ve been able to handle this without her. The amount of attention she put towards us was above and beyond any expectation we had. Shelby, another blessing during our journey, her kindness was a huge comfort for myself and husband. Betsy helped us so much during our first round and made our experience one that we wanted to do again…and again. And I can’t forget Jill, the first face you see when you walk in and the one you look forward to seeing each and every time. She is so nice and communicates well and is extremely helpful.
I would recommend this office and staff to anyone because they truly are amazing and have become family.
