Absolutely annoying – you pay good money for almost all the services anyway, you have to spend a long time in the waiting room (or if you’re a man, usually in front of the front door like a dog) and then as a man you’re not even allowed in for your child’s first ultrasound. I don’t think it’s okay that such an important moment is denied.

At the Kinderwunschzentrum an der Oper:
3 IVF cycles: 7 embryo transfers with embryos of mixed quality-
>1 positive beta ending in an early miscarriage. That is around a 14% embryo transfer success rate.
Embryo transfers were not ultrasound guided. Less ultrasound checks than at other clinics. Blood values were not always considered. Prescription was misprinted once, and another time wasn’t given one at all. One time, I was just plain forgotten in the waiting room. I really felt like an overlooked patient and literally tear up every time I go near that building at Marienplatz.
Discovered a polyp and increased cytotoxic activity of the endometrium after leaving the clinic. A biopsy was never even suggested during my time there.
All of that versus:
1 IVF cycle at an Czech clinic: 2 transfers with embryos of extremely high quality-> 2 positive betas -> 1 MMC and 1 ongoing pregnancy at 22 weeks. That is a 100% successful transfer rate – NOT at An der Oper, but at the Czech clinic.
Was also assigned an IVF coordinator who worked closely with me there at said clinic. I was never once forgotten in the waiting room, lol.
Update: thanks to the fertility treatments at the Czech clinic and not this one here at Marienplatz, I now have a beautiful 1 week old baby girl.
If you go to this clinic here at Marienplatz, either think again or be the best Karen possible and do the most to advocate for yourself. Insist that they actually LOOK at the blood tests; do your research and insist on appropriate tests, insist on them making time to discuss your protocol and why they aren’t doing what other clinics are doing.
Or, again, just choose a different clinic.
I was treated by Dr. Isabelle Anders and I do not recommend the doctor. She’s nice, but she’s not 100% trying and that doesn’t help anyone.
I definitely cannot recommend the clinic. I felt like I cried every day since the treatment. Nothing is explained in this clinic. The ladies at reception are so unfriendly and unempathetic that you simply don’t feel welcome. In addition, the receptionists are NOT trained, but this is probably due to the management.
For example, I was prescribed medication and forgot half of it. Sorry, something like that really doesn’t work.
The consultation lasted 5 minutes. Serious is different. It gives you the impression that questions are not welcome. Medications such as injections for IVF are NOT explained, which I still find so bad and I’m actually considering reporting it to the medical association. IVF was carried out and only then were the blood values requested, which of course makes perfect sense.
The focus here is Money Money Money.
Well then I hope that I was able to make a small contribution to the Porsche and that the doctors can bask in their karma. I left over €10,000.00 in the clinic and I am not pregnant. My success rate here is zero.
Diagnostics are also out of place.
Unfortunately, the doctor was not informed about additional services on the transfer day. In addition, the trigger injection was miscalculated at 2 hours. If I hadn’t noticed this, the transfer would have been a waste, but it’s ONLY a few €1,000.00.
The ultrasound was also not carried out properly, probably because there was not enough time since the patients were being worked on on a mass basis. I once had a telephone appointment with the doctor and she simply said to me that she doesn’t have that much time right now because there’s a lot going on in the morning 😂
Previous illnesses/diagnosis etc. are not documented. The process is only roughly explained, so you have to do your own research, which is an absolute disgrace in this price range.
What I find really sad is that Dr. Otherwise my complaints such as persistent dysmenorrhea were not addressed. My objection to possible endometriosis was also laughed at. In fact, endometriosis and fallopian tube adhesion have now been confirmed. I think it’s such a shame that such important examinations are not clarified in advance because this simply rules out pregnancy. Or rather, the percentage of getting pregnant is clearly very low.
According to other reviews, the clinic has negative reviews deleted. My review will not be deleted 😘
Until last year I was in practice for first GVnP, then after a two-year break IUI and finally IVF/ICSI. After months of treatment, the first and only ultrasound was performed before the puncture. The stimulation was done with Elonva, which allowed 30 eggs to be removed, although mass certainly affects the quality. Apart from blood tests, which according to the doctor were always great, nothing was examined or suggested to be examined. I was subsequently diagnosed with chronic endometritis, adenomyosis and, through laparoscopy, endometriosis by other clinics. Even after two inquiries, there was no response as to how many eggs could be fertilized by which method and what happened to the 8 blastocysts that were still there in the morning but could not be frozen. It’s good that appointments are made early and the treatment can be easily integrated into everyday work.
Very bad clinic!
Here you are not informed, any questions you have are laughed at instead of properly explained!! Rip off!

My tip: Watch the reviews as they come and go! But be quick, because the lawyers at this practice will also want to have this review deleted.
On the recommendation of Dr. Isabelle Anders landed – who helped us to our happiness after a year-long odyssey in other KiWu centers :-)!
Due to poor spermiograms, successful egg fertilization (x-zero ICSIs) could not be achieved despite ICSI in the other clinics. My eggs, all tests, cycle, ovulation, hormone levels, ultrasound, etc. were always normal. After various attempts, we were left hopeless with the statement: “We can’t give them any hope of having a child together.”
We were in shock – until we went to Dr. Different came. She took a fresh look at our case and made the suspected diagnosis of endometriosis, even though I had no symptoms, complaints or any indications of this so far – so far it has always been “they are healthy – we have no real explanation”! The doctor then explained to us exactly what everything was like for her. The diagnosis was confirmed during the operation – FINALLY we had an idea as to why the inseminations might not have worked. And that’s how it was! Suddenly it worked :-))) – the eggs were fertilized and the pregnancy occurred promptly.
I had endometriosis, which no one, not even my long-time gynecologist or the other KiWuZ, recognized because of the lack of symptoms.
Our gratitude to Dr. It’s hard to describe the difference in words – as well as the happiness we hold in our hands.
Never again !
Very competent practice and extremely courteous, friendly staff. I can recommend Dr. Highly recommend Puchta.
HANDS OFF!!!! I can only agree with the negative reviews. My wife was at Dr. Puchta. First she had to give blood and then promptly to the appointment. But only without a husband!!!
This means that my wife was alone with him during the consultation. He took advantage of my wife’s sensitivity to scare her. He said her anti-Müllerian hormone was too low at 2 and her body breaks down eggs 2 times faster than in normal women. So he said she should do artificial insemination and that she wouldn’t get pregnant because of the value.
Because the husbands quickly find out, they are not allowed into his office!!!
We received a folder with the procedure but no one discussed the folder with us – we said if we wanted to know anything about it then only with doctor’s assistants and from 10-11 a.m. And that should suddenly cost over a thousand euros. It’s crazy how you can rip people off. I mean the expensive rent on Maximilianstr and the doctors’ Porsches have to be financed somehow. But not at the expense of such a sensitive topic as the desire to have children. It was said that artificial insemination always goes wrong the first time but it definitely works the second time. So cash in twice??
Even though the doctors know exactly how to get women pregnant.
