What to watch out for at Kinderwunsch Centrum München (MVZ)?

  • warning Long wait times and poor scheduling

A significant number of reviews point to unacceptably long wait times both for appointments and within the clinic on the day of treatment. Patients express frustration at being made to wait for hours despite having scheduled appointments, creating an overall experience akin to an emergency room.

  • warning Unfriendly and disorganized staff

Many customers report feeling unwelcome due to unfriendly reception and administrative staff. The registration process seems chaotic, leading to a disjointed experience that detracts from the overall quality of care provided.

  • warning Lack of communication and clarity

Patients have raised concerns about the inadequate exchange of information regarding their treatment plans and the associated costs. The clinic reportedly fails to provide comprehensive details about procedures and potential alternatives, resulting in misunderstandings.

  • warning Perceived focus on profit

Several reviews reflect a sentiment that the clinic prioritizes financial gain over genuine patient care. Critics express concerns that unnecessary treatments are pushed onto patients, leading to significant medical bills without transparency regarding their necessity.

  • warning Variable quality of medical care

While some doctors received praise, others were described as rushed and less empathetic. This inconsistency in the quality of care can create an uneven experience for patients across the clinic, which diminishes overall trust in the treatment they receive.

I am writing this review not out of emotion, but as a warning for patients with low AMH and diminished ovarian reserve.

I will start with the positives.
The clinic staff are polite, friendly, and pleasant in communication. The organization of processes appears structured and orderly, giving an impression of correctness and professionalism.

Unfortunately, this is where the positives ended for me.

My situation: low AMH, age 39+, and limited ovarian reserve. This group of patients requires a highly individualized, flexible, and carefully adapted approach. In practice, I experienced the opposite.

Key points I believe are important to highlight:

• Lack of individualized protocols.
Standard stimulation protocols are used without meaningful adaptation to the patient’s medical history, biological response, or the specific needs of low responders.

• The patient is not truly heard.
My questions, concerns, and arguments (including those related to dosage, strategy, and risks) were not substantively discussed. Instead, a single predetermined approach was repeatedly pushed without real dialogue.

• A rigid, system-driven approach rather than a patient-centered one.
Proposed strategies were explained as being “necessary for approval” or “required by the system,” rather than as medically optimal solutions tailored to my individual case.

• Loss of valuable time.
For patients aged 38–40+, time is a critical factor. I feel that precious months were lost on an attempt carried out largely “blindly,” without fine-tuning or adaptive adjustments.

• Difficulty obtaining medical documentation and results.
After the treatment, obtaining information about what was performed, including ultrasound reports, took approximately two weeks and required a significant number of repeated emails. Information was provided incompletely and in fragments, forcing me to request the same data multiple times.

• No consistent physician support or continuity of care.
Patients should not expect to have a physician who is readily available to answer questions, explain decisions, or provide ongoing support. This is a rigidly structured system with little room for human connection, empathy, or consideration of the patient’s emotional state.

• Health consequences following treatment.
After the protocol, I experienced significant physical and psychological side effects, including:
— breast lumps requiring further diagnostic evaluation (mammography),
— persistent pain in the ovary on the side where egg retrieval was performed,
— severe mood swings, anxiety, and depressive symptoms,
— noticeable deterioration of skin condition and a flare-up of rosacea.

As a result, my body was left in a state of pronounced hormonal and nervous system imbalance, affecting both physical and psychological well-being.

I am not claiming that the clinic is “bad” overall.
However, my experience strongly suggests that it performs well with standard, uncomplicated cases, but is not adequately prepared to manage complex patients who require individualized strategies beyond a template-based approach.

For women with low AMH, diminished ovarian reserve, and a need for a carefully tailored treatment plan, I would not recommend this clinic.

If your case is straightforward and textbook-like, your experience may be different.
If your situation is more complex, I strongly advise thinking twice and obtaining a second opinion from a clinic that truly specializes in working with low responders.

I am sharing this review so that other patients in similar situations can make a more informed decision.
