IVI London – IVF Fertility Clinic – Reviews and Prices

I recently contacted the IVI clinic in London to inquire about their fertility diagnostic package, but my experience was disappointing:

– I called on Friday morning, March 21st, 2025, and during the first call, I felt that the clinic was mainly focused on patients who were already certain they needed treatment. The person I spoke to implied that the clinic was more suited for individuals who need a treatment. When I mentioned that we were still in the process of deciding, I was told that if we weren’t sure about needing treatment, we might want to consider another clinic.

This response left me confused, as their website clearly stated that they offered fertility assessments. Wanting to clarify, I reviewed their website again and decided to call back later that morning. During the second call, I was given more details about the diagnostic package, but I still felt that the clinic wasn’t particularly welcoming to people who were just seeking an initial assessment.

After this experience, I decided to call an IVI clinic in Spain, and the difference was striking. The woman who assisted me was very professional and explained everything clearly, exactly as it was stated on the website. She confirmed that I absolutely fit the profile for the diagnostic package and reassured me that undergoing the assessment does not commit me to anything at all. She was surprised by what I had been told in London and even mentioned that she would report it to her superiors, as that is not how IVI operates.

Following this call, I made the decision not to proceed with the diagnostic package in London because I did not feel comfortable. The approach of the London clinic did not truly reflect IVI’s values, as they seemed overly focused on pushing treatments rather than providing a proper diagnosis first. Their eagerness to move straight to treatments was noticeable, which is not the right way to make potential patients feel comfortable. This is not an encouraging way to start such a delicate process for couples like mine.

I am fully aware that IVI has outstanding professionals, and it is unfortunate that the London clinic does not reflect the true philosophy and vision of the organisation. That is why I have decided to have the fertility diagnostic package done at IVI Valencia—the clinic in my hometown—when I visit my family in Spain.

I highly recommend IVI Clinic for egg freezing. Dr. Nikolaos was sympathetic, charming, and professional, providing clear and detailed explanations at every step to ensure I felt informed and at ease throughout the process. While there were some initial communication issues with the administrative team before I committed to treatment, these were resolved once I started, and the nursing staff remained responsive and attentive throughout. The entire nursing team remained responsive, attentive and compassionate throughout, especially Paloma who looked after me so well on the day of my retrieval. Although only five eggs were viable for freezing, this was the expected outcome given my egg count. Now, I’m working on finding the funds for another cycle!

I can only have words of gratitude towards IVI London team. They are all fantastic professionals that gave advice and support through the whole IVF journey, which it is not an easy one. Thank you all.

Very professional clinic, smooth everything

IVF Fertility Clinic UK were absolutely fantastic. Dr. Tomas was very clear from the beginning and very professional, all staff in general is very good, very polite, positive and caring.
They help us from the beginning with everything and the best of it, we got pregnant straight away with the first transfer. We highly recommend IVF Fertility Clinic UK.

I could not be more happy with the way I was treated by the team at IVI London. My doctor, Marina Diaz, is just fantastic. The nurses, Irene and Sophie, were also gems and did an amazing job in answering all of my queries and generally keeping an eye on me. Lastly, Stella who is responsible for bloods has been amazing and very supportive throughout my journey. There are a few other wonderful professionals and doctors I came across during my treatment at IVI.

The best things about the clinic:

– everything is done very fast and in an organised manner. No time wasted.

– knowledgable team with great statistics

On an occasion I found it hard to reach anyone on the phone, so this is something which may require some attention in the future I think.

You’re in safe hands with Dr Tomasz and his team. The team are knowledgeable and caring. We’ve had a very positive experience with IVI. All being well, we’re now on a journey to parenthood.

I had a great egg freezing experience at IVI and would recommend this clinic to anyone! The staff are kind, caring, responsive and answered my many many questions thoroughly. Dr. Galian and Irene truly went above and beyond. Also never had any issues with waiting and the facility was new and clean. Overall it was very smooth and would come back if I decide to do another round.
