Fertility Plus – Reviews and Prices

I intentionally chose Fertility Plus as it was essential for me not to be a number in a large clinic and I am so glad I did.

All your appointments are directly with your consultant, with the nurses always available to support (notably with injections if that’s a concern of yours – they were so patient with me).

The patient journey at Fertility Plus has been carefully thought through with you at the heart of it and I have felt in great hands throughout the process. Any of my questions were promptly addressed (e.g. no being put on hold for ages over the phone or waiting for days for your email to get a response) and I continuously felt informed about my treatment and how things were progressing. The team is always available should you have any questions or issue (incl. direct whatsapp line to your doctor and a dedicated app where you can chat with a nurse or admin team who typically respond within minutes / hours).

I got a little concerned when I realised that Dr Gudi, who had been following me throughout the process, would be on holiday on the day of my procedure. I shouldn’t have – the handover to Dr Shah was outstanding and I ended up feeling extra supported as both doctors got involved in my follow-up.

Last point – I particularly appreciated the transparency in Fertility Plus pricing in comparison to other clinics. It might look a little more expensive but the peace of mind of not having any budget surprises as you go through what can be a heavy journey truly makes a difference.

In short, I highly recommend Fertility Plus (and have already done so to my friends). Big thank you to Dr Gudi, Dr Shah and the whole team at the clinic.

Fertility Plus clinic is the best fertility clinic I ever been so far .I had polycystic ovary syndrome and was so difficult to get pregnant, but thanks to Dr Gudi and the lady wich was he’s trusted person that helped me in my follow-up apointments iam 7 weeks pregnant now, iam so happy.
Other Clinics before just gave me stimulating tablets like letrozol or clomiphene without treating the cysts first,so the cysts resisted to medication.
Dr Gudi treated my cysts first giving a supplement (Inofolic alpha ) and than the trigger tablets or injection and worked .
I would highly recommend fertility Plus clinic to couples who are planning family.

It’s taken a while for me to be able to write a review given what a terrible experience I had at Fertility Plus at the start of last year. After reading very positive, nearly perfect reviews about this fertility clinic, I’m honestly so disappointed at how out of touch and impersonal this fertility practice is.

I had some unfortunate news about my fertility results (very low AMH). I told Dr Thakre, that I had previously done blood tests for infertility and that my results had varied but she was concerned about a high FHS result that was previously documented. As a result, Dr Thakre said she wanted me to get another infertility test including an FSH test to confirm her consultation that I was in perimenopause. She told me that I could get the test done at the same lab that I had done my AMH test around the corner from the clinic after finishing our face to face appointment as she would be able to confirm her diagnosis the next day by phone call. Despite asking several questions at the appointment about the diagnosis, myself and my husband didn’t leave feeling like we were any less informed about our journey ahead and the level of empathy provided came across as quite fake.

The next day Dr Thakre called and advised me that my FHS had skyrocketed and unfortunately as she had explained the day before that my only options for bearing children would be through a donor egg with 40-45% success or conceiving naturally (but the chances were very minimal). IVF with my own eggs was not an option. During our call I asked the doctor to provide information about the treatment options available and she had offered to book some therapy sessions for me before making a decision about a treatment plan to move ahead with donor eggs. She told me I should speak with my GP about hormone replacement therapy and to get my bone density checked due to perimenopause. She also reassured me I didn’t have to make the decision right away about conceiving with a donor egg. We again asked a few questions regarding what might our journey ahead might be like, but we were again left feeling that our interaction was cold and transactional.

After the call I emailed to request a copy of my blood results. They emailed me back saying I had an outstanding bill of £234 and said they received my request and would get back to me shortly. After several back and forth questions I had regarding my blood tests, the reception team finally advised that they wanted me to pay for the additional blood test before they would release my own personal test information. Once I made the payment they released my results, and gave me the Gmail contact details of a therapist to pay for counselling sessions.

After both my in-person appointment, phone call and the correspondence since then, my gut instinct told me that something about the service we received wasn’t right so I decided to get a second opinion. I’m thankful I trusted my gut and decided not to continue with this clinic and found somewhere that treated me less like a number and more like a human.

After two unsuccessful attempts with the NHS where we couldn’t reach the blastocyst stage, we decided to seek treatment at the Fertility Plus Clinic. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and expertise of Dr. Gudi and Dr. Shah.

The journey through infertility is slow, filled with emotional ups and downs, but they consistently supported us and kept our hopes and morale high. Thanks to their care and dedication, we are now 11 weeks pregnant following my second implantation with them.

The admin and nursing team is also excellent—efficient, responsive, and always helpful, which made the entire process smoother. I wholeheartedly recommend Fertility Plus Clinic to anyone navigating fertility challenges.

We struggled with infertility for years before being recommended FP. We cannot recommend the team and Dr Gudi enough for the following reasons –

– continuity of care – we only ever saw Dr Gudi for all appointments, who had a clear plan, tailored to our needs and circumstances. He was professional, reassuring and patient, particularly when i had some bleeding in early pregnancy.

– wrap around service – the nursing team were knowledgable, responsive and very willing to answer questions, eg around how to do injections.

– high quality service – our appointments were always on time, the meds arrived on time and in the right doses, there was never any issue around logistics. The transparent pricing meant we were clear on the total cost at the outset. The app to contact the team was user friendly. Anecdotally from friends at other clinics sadly this level of service is not common. We had a great experience on all these counts.

Our daughter arrived safely in Oct 24, we were lucky as this was after only one round of ICSI.
We would highly recommend FP to anyone struggling with infertility.
