My husband and I traveled from the US to undergo IVF treatment with Dr. Abanto during June 2023. We were referred by a family friend to IVI. From the very first moment we walked in, we knew we picked the right place. The staff and nurses were so kind to us right away and not to mention the facility is state of the art.

Dr. Abanto is an absolute angel on earth. Going through IVF treatment is an emotional rollercoaster but Dr. Abanto was there for us every step of the way. She is very personable, loving, friendly and heartwarming. She took away our worries and gave us hope that we would finally be able to become parents after a long journey of infertility. We left every appointment so happy because we knew we were in the right hands.

And then Dr. Abanto made our dreams a reality with a positive pregnancy test after arriving back home in the states. I am now planning my sons first birthday party and we are headed back to Spain in 6 weeks for another embryo transfer with Dr.Abanto in hopes to give our son a sibling.

Dr.Abanto and the entire staff at IVI changed our lives in so many positive ways. I will be thankful for the rest of my life that god led us to them. I hope that anyone who is suffering through infertility will find themselves a Dr like her. If you are considering IVI for treatment, you are in the right place.

We’ve been meaning to write this text some time now. As we write our son is sleeping in his stroller; A few years ago we started trying to have a kid. After some search in the internet we picked IVI Bilbao based on comments we red and its location. We picked our Doctor, Estefanía Abanto after reading comments on the internet and seeing her photo :). We decided to wait for her, as she did not have immediate availability for an appointment. Finally, we managed to have one, with the precious help of Elena from the international department and arranged a visit. The welcoming was much warmer and professional than what we expected, based on the experience we had in France. Doctor Estefanía was so welcoming, reassuring and supportive which was exactly what we needed and we were missing in France. We felt seen. After several exams, they told us that everything was good and we could start with the procedure when we wanted. Dr. Estefanía encouraged us to have visio conferences between visits so she can answer any questions we had and reassure us for any doubts we had. Even though this was from afar we felt 100% medically monitored. The day of the transfer all stuff of IVI were looking after us. The people we talked made us feel that this was a personal relation and not just a professional encounter.
Dr Estefanía Abanto always took into account our physical and mental needs and encouraged us to move forward.
We would not have reached the fifth and successful transfer without her.

Our experience at both Ivi Santander and Ivi Bilbao has been great, in our case we were treated in Santander by Dr. Ainara, where she explained the entire process to us, we did everything else at Ivi Bilbao, where everything was done, the staff of 10, we felt very supported and cared for with a lot of love, we got pregnant on the first attempt and today we already have our princess with us, so a huge THANK YOU to the entire team ♥️

I would like to thank IVI Bilbao for the treatment received, especially Fátima in those hard beginnings and Estefanía at the end of the treatment, always with that smile and knowing how to cheer me up. Thank you very much for helping me get what I wanted so much.

If you are considering IVI, and in particular Dr. Fernandez, I could not recommend her enough. My husband and I started trying when I was 40 years old. After our first miscarriage, we sought out fertility treatment in France but after one round of FIV, two failed transfers, and another miscarriage in between, time was quickly running out for me before we would have to consider donor eggs. Upon starting with Dr. Fernandez and her team at IVI at the end of 2022, she quickly gained my trust, and instilled confidence in me that she was exceptionally competent in her field and that her protocol would work. Additionally, her sense of urgency and ability to communicate through each step gave me much needed comfort along the way. I was incredibly impressed with her throughout and I am happy to say that everything worked out exactly as she had planned, and we are now sitting here with our beautiful 3 week old daughter. If you are considering working with Dr. Fernandez at IVI, you can be confident you are working with one of the best.

They assured me that I could be a mother, they recommended a treatment, I have done everything they told me and I have not been able to become a mother, the treatment has run out, I have spent my savings and I have not succeeded, I feel cheated. They keep saying that I could be and that I should do another treatment. This is called profiting from the misfortune of others. I come from surviving several medical negligence STOP STOP STOP

The appointment system does not notify you that your appointment is not confirmed or has been cancelled. We got there after taking a taxi since we can’t get there any other way, the metro is really far away, and they tell us that our appointment has been automatically canceled so another taxi returned for absolutely nothing. It has certainly opened our eyes to not going to a place that involves a taxi every time you go.
