Δόξα το Θεό, ήμουν τυχερή με την πρώτη! Καταρχήν γιατί βρήκα αυτόν τον γλυκύτατο γιατρό και άριστο επιστήμονα, τον κ.Κανακά, καθώς και την υπέροχη ομάδα του, αλλά κυρίως γιατί στην Embryoland βρήκα Ανθρώπους (με το άλφα κεφαλαίο) που με αγκάλιασαν με τρυφερότητα και κατανόηση. Είμαι 53 ετών και μην έχοντας άλλα χρονικά περιθώρια εκ του Νόμου και εκ της Φύσεως, αποφάσισα να προχωρήσω σε εξωσωματική έστω και μόνη μου, μιας και είχα χωρίσει πρόσφατα. Ο γιατρός κατανόησε από την αρχή την κατάσταση μου, με ενημέρωσε και με βοήθησε σε όλα τα επίπεδα. Και ψυχολογικά, ενθαρρύνοντας με, αλλά και οικονομικά, με κάθε διευκόλυνση που μπορούσε να γίνει. Αυτήν την στιγμή είμαι ήδη έγκυος στην 10η εβδομάδα, με την 1η προσπάθεια και πρώτα ο Θεός, εύχομαι να πάνε όλα καλά με την εγκυμοσύνη μου και ο γιατρός μου να με βοηθήσει να γεννήσω το πρώτο μου μωράκι το καλοκαίρι. Nikos Kanakas is an excellent scientist who loves his job but above all he is a HUMAN!!! Always smiling, willing and very supportive throughout the entire effort. He can and does face problems in a timely manner and immediately provides the solution!!! We are grateful that with his valuable help we succeeded 12 years ago and acquired a beautiful little boy!!! He was always available on his phone, offering support and guidance before and after the IVF, which we truly did not expect.
