I paid a $1,500 retainer to the agency after agreeing to move forward with a donor. Afterward, the donor demanded an additional $10,000. Since the donor broke the agreement, I asked the owner, Sheryl, to return my retainer. She refused. I am now in the process of filing a claim in small claims court.

I have been a donor for five out of my six cycles. Sheryl is a very direct person who will answer your questions as a donor thoroughly and she really truly treats you as an equal and with dignity. One time I was stranded due to a computing error and Sheryl was able to make sure I was taken care of and okay by even as late by eleven at night. This is by no means me saying to depend on that sort of timing, after all it is terribly late. But I wanted to make sure to mention her character and how she really is there for the donors. Her staff is also very polite and they did great communicating with me what the next steps were, even sending me reminders as deadlines approached. I really loved donating for Elite Fertility, there was a reason I came back to donate for them. Thank you so much Sheryl Anderson and team! Wishing you all the best

Speaking as a donor, my experience with EFS was AWFUL. They had me complete 40+ hours of prep work to match me with two couples, promising that my graduate course schedule--which I disclosed on Day 1 when I first contacted them and reminded them of throughout-- would not be a problem. 6 months later, they announced a new timeline with inflexibility. I have no control over my school's term dates. They then dropped me as a donor and didn't even pay the $1k they had said would be contributed if "things didn't work out for some reason." The lead doctor, Sheryl Anderson, and her nurse Gyanni, here were incredibly unprofessional, condescending throughout the process.
