  • Personalized Treatment Plans
Patients highlight the clinic's commitment to personalized treatment, with daily monitoring and tailored medications that adjust based on individual responses, resulting in improved outcomes for many.
  • Caring Staff
Several reviews commend the kind and supportive staff members at ARGC, noting their patience and empathy as invaluable during the stressful fertility journey. This human touch is appreciated, especially in a challenging environment.

Many patients note the extensive testing and analysis done by ARGC to uncover underlying fertility issues, with rigorous protocols that often include unique tests not offered elsewhere. This thoroughness can be foundational in creating effective treatment strategies.

What to watch out for at ARGC?

  • High Costs
Many reviews express frustrations over the high costs associated with treatment at ARGC, often exceeding initial estimates significantly. Patients report that expenses quickly accumulate, leading to feelings of being taken advantage of financially.
  • Chaotic Environment
The clinic's atmosphere is frequently described as chaotic and overcrowded, with patients feeling rushed through procedures and often waiting long periods without clear communication. This can lead to a stressful patient experience, detracting from their overall care.
  • Impersonal Care
Some patients feel that despite the clinic's rigorous approach, the care can feel impersonal, often receiving conflicting information from different medical staff members. This lack of continuity and personalization can leave patients feeling like just another number.
  • Unresponsive Management
There are notable complaints regarding slow responses from the clinic's administrative team and management, especially concerning issues arising post-treatment. This lack of timely communication can frustrate patients who are already dealing with emotional and financial stress.
  • Limited Access to Doctors
Patients often report limited direct interaction with doctors, frequently only seeing them during initial consultations. This can leave individuals feeling unsupported during crucial moments of their treatment journey, leading to further concerns about the care received.

Do dot use this clinic for IVF! Their treatments are extreme and dangerous. My wife was recommended unnecessary procedures at the wrong time which were evidently only being suggested so that could charge us more money. She was not warned of the consequences of the optional procedures and reacted badly, resulting in ARGC cancelling her treatment and pocketing £10,000 for nothing. This clinic only cares about taking your money – do not use them. We made a formal complaint but they responded very defensively (quite clear they knew they had made a mistake) and would not even apologise.

We went to a different clinic and had successful treatment and much better patient care.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the care I’ve received at this clinic. Despite starting with just four stimulated follicles, the medication and monitoring worked perfectly, and all four mature eggs were successfully retrieved yesterday. This experience has given me so much hope—something that’s essential when dealing with a low ovarian reserve!

My two children were conceived with the help of ARGC and they were fantastic from start to finish – rigorous, in control and completely confident. I recommend them to everyone who has fertility issues, and I owe them my family’s happiness!

Simply a negative experience through and through. Communication and environment are terrible, egg collection room looks very dodgy and not hygenic, getting information during scans is impossible- they almost can’t be bothered to talk to you, arrogance and entitlement of the doctors starting with Dr Taranissi is unbelievable.. Such high cost for such poor experience and results. It simply is not worth it. Although they have the reputation of ‘delivering results’ I think it is either an old or exaggerated story… Noone was able to provide any data.. Don’t waste your time and money and think that the clinic being on Harley St makes it good.

Terrible experience! Trust me when I say, do not use this company. Communication is terrible, service is terrible, constantly being told different things by different people. At so many occasions we were let down. We are currently in the process of communicating with the ombudsman. Please beware

ARGC Malpractice Risked My Sister’s Life:

Unfortunately, my sister received treatment at
ARGC for an in vitro fertilization procedure. Despite the protocols indicating that implantation should be avoided if there are signs of ovarian hyper-stimulation, the clinic advised her to proceed with the implantation of two embryos. As a result, she developed ascites, renal failure, and severe electrolyte imbalances, putting her life at risk.

From the onset of the first symptoms, including difficulty breathing, abdominal swelling, nausea, and intolerance to food, my sister visited the clinic multiple times. However, no additional tests were performed, and her condition was downplayed. She was simply advised to increase fluid intake.

Fortunately, my sister went to A&E, where she was attended by the critical care team. They confirmed that her condition was life-threatening. The hospital later confirmed that she was the only patient they had treated with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) who had embryos implanted. As no reputable clinic would recommend implantation when the ovaries are hyperstimulated.

Currently, she is hospitalized in critical condition due to complications arising from malpractice at ARGC, which failed to apply proper preventive measures and dismissed her initial symptoms, allowing her condition to worsen and putting her life in danger.

Please carefully consider your health and well-being before choosing ARGC for your fertility treatment.

ARGC only cares about its success rate and doesn’t mind putting its patients in grave danger for it. One of my best friends is hospitalised after a near death experience in intensive care from severe OHSS due to the negligence of this clinic. She showed signs of overstimulation since collection and they still pushed her to have a fresh transfer (first negligence: most clinics would never do a fresh transfer when risk of OHSS arises). The negligence continued -once she started feeling really ill, they kept telling her (without seeing her in person) to “just drink 4 lts of water” and it’d get better. At no point did they offer to take a blood test to check she was ok -even though 10s are taken before and during the stimulation process! Thankfully, she listened to her body and went to A&E, where they assessed her to be in critical condition and saved her life. Even now, ARGC are trying to brush it off and telling her her body reacted unexpectedly (of course, things are unexpected when you can’t be bothered to check for a risk you know existed, particularly after breaking protocol!) PLEASE, PLEASE value your health and your life and don’t use this clinic, there’s plenty others.

Terrible experience, despite high cost the clinic is extremely disorganised (my file couldn’t be found several times they had booked me in), terrible communication (nurses on the same day providing different information), lack of clarity on the full process and costs. There were consistent delays and you feel rushed at every step. It is managed like a production line. The experience has definitely not been positive and if I went back in time I would not choose ARGC

Background: I’m 28, OH 31. Trying to conceive 4 years with no pregnancy outcomes. Had endometriosis surgery was told to try naturally for 6 months and did a few medicated rounds of letrozole but nothing happened.

Spoke to two different clinics, the first one I didn’t like there approach they were very much in the mindset of let’s head straight to IVF without anymore tests.

We then had a consultation at ARGC and knew that they were the clinic for us. They suggested further testing to make sure that they had covered all basis to ensure we had the maximum chance of IVF being a success for us. We found out my Natural killer cells were higher than normal and I also had a ureaplasma infection which were both treated.

For many the ‘bootcamp’ approach doesn’t suit, but for us we liked that a clinic finally took us seriously for our ‘young’ age and wanted to know that we were giving it our all and knew that the clinic would be doing the same. It is hard, but my gosh is it worth it. Our experience was made as straightforward as possible and we knew we were in the best hands which gave us hope through the hard times.

The ARGC Facebook page is so helpful as well whilst going through the monitoring / egg stimulation phase.

We are now 21 weeks pregnant with twin girls and are still being monitored and given advice by ARGC. Another thing that makes them a cut above the rest is that they do still monitor you. Most ivf clinics say goodbye to you at 12 weeks and this can feel so daunting after having such an intense and closely monitored first trimester.

All of the nurses have been so so lovely and helpful. Communication has always been quick and easy which is particularly helpful when you’re a nervous wreck and have so many questions! A special mention to Nicole – her kindness and knowledge has been greatly appreciated throughout.

I am so glad and grateful that we took the time to research what clinic would be best for us and that we found ARGC. Our mindset was yes it’s expensive and yes we could find somewhere else cheaper. But what if that somewhere else took 5 attempts and then we end up at ARGC anyway. That would be a long time of heartache and a lot of money lost. But if it failed at ARGC atleast we would know we did everything possible.

We visited the ARGC 12 years ago after 6 years of failed treatments elsewhere. All staff were amazing – super helpful and attentive to our needs. We were thrilled to received our news that I was pregnant after our first try at the ARGC. If you are expecting to go somewhere with fancy decor and tea and coffee being served to you, you won’t find that at this clinic but you will find a man who is passionate in helping people achieve their dreams of having a family. He is the same today as he was during our visits many years ago (and we know this as we recently returned with both children).
Thank you Mr T and all at ARGC.
