So far I am unhappy with the services I have received as an IVF patient due to (1) disorganization with billing, (2) some rude behaviors from a certain front desk employee, (3) insensitivity towards a client's individual circumstance, and (4) a lack of follow up on important issues. This clinic has grown so much since my partner and I have been here. The focus at first felt like a lot more on quality than quantity. Now it is difficult to even schedule appointments, to get questions and concerns answered. We already have embryos and are just doubtful about whether the embryos are in good hands because of all the hiccups we have experienced so far. Billing is chaotic and not organized. The front desk employee Taylor is abrasive. There is barely any communication with the doctors. There is insensitivity towards medical details, such that at one point my partner was told they would be coming in to dock their sperm (which my partner is not able to do). Turns out the clinic just sent out a generic message that they send to all patients. My partner was confused at the message and it was time sensitive so it caused us stress. The doctors are not tracking the plans well. There have been times where we were told they would follow up with us, and they did not, and we had to take matters into our own hands. Just the little details like that are slipping through the cracks and it makes us wonder whether this clinic is living up to the name it once had in the IVF industry.

I only have good things to say about VA Fertility. I feel like I am treated as a human being here as opposed to the previous practice I went to. State of the ART (pun intended) facility, amazing staff, cost effective plans, incredible and knowlegeable nurses and doctors, well-run, accountable, responsible and an incredible lab. Not to mention gentle and expert phlebotomists and anesthesiologist. And they also offer a free support group with a professional therapist leading sessions. Now that's a fertility clinic that cares about you. I do hope to update this review with pictures of a baby.

They truly work hard for you and care about you as a person not just a diagnosis. They have laughed with me, cried with me, celebrated with me, cried with me some more, and have always been so supportive. It’s hard to find providers let alone a whole team that truly care but they do. I always recommend them to anyone who is on an infertility journey.
