I've never interacted with a more hostile staff in my life. The women in the office were so horrendous I actually lost confidence in doing this in Utah entirely and am now looking out of state.

They also don't seem to have much data on freezing eggs (super low sample sizes) or experience with that process for older women.

Save yourself the grief and don't use this clinic.

Reply to owner: The staff if anything seemed like they had been trained to treat patients horribly so you are certainly not striving to do any of the things you claim.

I have nothing but great things to say about my time spent at UFC. Dr.Dorais was extremely kind, thorough, and always listened to my concerns and answered any of my questions. My nurse coordinator was easy to communicate with and if she wasn’t available, I was always able to get ahold of someone to answer any questions I had! The whole team at Midvale is amazing and I would highly recommend UFC for anyone needing fertility care.

I came here for donor egg IVF. I wouldn't choose this fertility center again if I had to choose again. My doctor was Dr. Gurtcheff, the director. It was hard to get comprehensive answers from Dr. Gurtcheff when I had questions. I got literally a few word responses sometimes and often had to press for more explanation. When it came to pregnancy updates, I never got explanations as to what certain levels meant until I pressed and she had little compassion. I also felt she should have done a more thorough work up of my uterus before doing any transfers. My new doctor said I have endometritis and polyps which I have now removed. I wasted two embryos. The only bright part of Utah is Ali, a coordinator. Lovely, patient, and compassionate. But apparently, 40k doesn't get you compassion or time from the doctor. I'm not the only one with this opinion of the doctor. Review Facebook groups before you go there. They didn't even have the respect to get me another doctor when I asked for one. They have very few doctors available at the center and one of the few good reviewed ones just left.

To the response from Utah:

Way to explain yourself. You offer no explanation for failing to replace a doctor when I requested one. Corporate double speak. Find a center that's not owned by private equity

I cannot say enough good things about Utah Fertility Center. From the moment I walked in, every single person I encountered was incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. The doctors, nurses, ultrasound techs, and front desk staff all took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure I felt supported and never rushed. Fertility treatment can be emotionally and physically overwhelming, but the entire team made me feel safe, respected, and truly cared for at every step. Their professionalism combined with such heartfelt compassion makes this clinic truly special. I am so grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Utah Fertility Center to anyone on this journey.
