If you're looking for an acupuncturist that treats pcos, you NEED to give Jack Handlin a try. I went to him for regular treatment to manage my pcos for about 5 years. I experienced the most success with this provider and had the best results while seeing him (and I tried 2 acupuncturists before him). I then received prenatal and postpartum acupuncture till 2024. I firmly believe my ability to conceive so quickly was largely due to all the acupuncture I’d received from this provider as I was able to really effectively manage my symptoms and decrease them to almost zero (I know everyone’s pcos journeys look different; this was my experience). Jack is not only a skilled acupuncturist, he also has wonderful bedside manner and knows how to provide effective emotional support when needed. With gratitude I share that I had a very healthy pregnancy overall and my now 2.5 year old is also very healthy. I’m super grateful to Tree of Life Acupuncture and would 15/10 recommend it any day!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Handlin and acupuncture in general. It was a big time/financial commitment for almost 2 years but completely worth it. Now holding my beautiful healthy baby girl and I couldn’t feel more blessed. I worked with Dr. Handlin for one year. I started going to help regain my cycle with the ultimate end goal of starting a family. Not only did my cycle return within less than two months of treatment, I became pregnant before the fourth cycle! He also helped with my anxiety and was a constant support system - he was always open to listen to my questions or concerns, letting me know what other changes would help to regain my cycle. I continued to see him for treatment throughout my pregnancy and to manage my gestational diabetes. I highly recommended Dr. Handlin for anyone who may be having trouble with their cycle or getting pregnant. He will not only help with acupuncture, but also with his knowledgeable advice and unwavering support. I'm adding onto my original post after I worked with Dr. Handlin during my second pregnancy. Dr Handlin did more than acupuncture. He helped me during a time when I was ready to give up on my fertility journey. Without his care - mentally, emotionally, physically - our family would not have been able to welcome our little bundle of joy this year! I only saw him for about 3 months and wish i did more, but just those 3 months was integral to my healing process. I highly recommend Dr Handlin for anyone who is struggling and at any stage in their journey.

Jack Handlin (owner) has very shady billing practices. He will ask you for a card to keep on file, and will charge this card at some point after services are rendered, without warning, without sending any statements, without emailing you or letting you know in any way that you are going to be charged. Had I not looked over my credit card statement, I could have easily overlooked a charge for over $500. I asked him why he would do this, and he replied, "that's just something we do." I had to ask for a statement for my visits, they are not offered to you otherwise. Additionally, he has a bogus charge of $3 per visit for PPE (personal protective equipment), which I have never seen him use- never used gloves or a mask. What is this charge for? He wants to make money off of women who so desperately want to become pregnant. He is very chatty, he loves to talk. I know some people feel comforted by it, but he truly annoyed the hell out of me because he did not listen to me, but talked AT me. For those who are looking for help conceiving, I feel for you and wish you the best of luck in growing your family. I have had success with Union Wellness in seattle, with care from Roxane and Vicki. If i had to use acupuncture again for fertility, I'd go back to them, no hesitation. Best of luck, from a woman on the internet.
