About Sims IVF Clonskeagh

Sims IVF is widely recognized for its warm, empathetic staff and clear, step‑by‑step communication that helps patients feel supported throughout their fertility journey. The clinic boasts several success stories, including twin pregnancies and miracle births, often attributed to personalized treatment plans and the expertise of doctors such as Dr. Alex and Dr. Florencia. Patients frequently praise nurses like Noeleen, Teri, Claire, and Tess for their attentiveness and gentle approach. However, recurring concerns highlight a perceived emphasis on high fees, inconsistent medical assessments for complex conditions, and occasional administrative lapses. While many recommend Sims IVF for its caring environment, prospective patients should weigh these strengths against reports of communication gaps and variable clinical consistency.

What to watch out for at Sims IVF Clonskeagh?

  • warning High cost focus

Multiple accounts describe the clinic as prioritizing revenue, with complaints about expensive treatments, unexpected storage fees, and a perception that financial considerations outweigh patient care.

  • warning Inconsistent medical assessment

Patients with complex issues such as uterine inflammation or endometriosis report that critical investigations were overlooked, leading some to seek successful treatment abroad.

  • warning Communication and admin errors

Frequent reports of poor follow‑up, delayed email responses, prescription mix‑ups, and billing disputes indicate gaps in administrative coordination and patient communication.

  • warning Staff turnover and variable empathy

Experiences differ markedly between locations and over time; consultant changes and inconsistent nurse assignments have resulted in uneven levels of compassion and continuity of care.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Sharing my terrible experience with Sims IVF as the doctor shows no empathy but interest in profits only. 1. Sims was the only clinic recommended dual-stimulation for someone with diminished ovarian reserve like me. I have consulted two other clinics after my first attempt with Sims and the two doctors both suggested dual-stimulation was for research purpose. Doesn’t seem to have other reasons except profit for doctor to suggest this plan. 2. Doctor I had has no empathy and did not provide scientific and detailed root cause analysis. I had the worst result which as nothing was collected and Doctor just said this was just bad luck or some other reasons. However, the some other reasons where never well explained. While I was sick after the surgery, the doctor still recommended having the next cycle without considering my mental health. 3. Pricey. Egg freezing treatment is costly but Sims is one of the most expensive and there are other clinics offering better service at lower price. Do your research and look into the terms including the refund of collecting no egg which makes a difference too in cases of disappointing outcome. 4. Resources limited. I was sedated for the surgery and was told to get up and return my bad after I woke up and barely sober. I didn’t even have time to cope with the disappointing results and got kicked out from my bad. This is the service you shall expect because my friend had the exact same feedback at this clinic. Though I was disappointed with the Doctor I had and the services provided by some of the nurses on the surgery day. A few of the nurses were kind and helpful to address all my questions. Think carefully of your choice of clinic because most likely you won’t switch to another clinic if you have some eggs collected by them.
