Avoid this clinic at all costs. They discharged my partner immediately after her egg retrieval while she was bleeding internally. She nearly had to have her ovary removed in the ER just hours later. The ER doctor let us know the internal bleeding was caused by the surgeon, and that this was the second patient she’d seen from this clinic this week. My partner had two blood transfusions done. All of this was done at the hands of Dr. Alex Polotsky. Whatever you do, DO NOT see Dr. Polotsky. He is extremely negligent and his license should be revoked immediately. This entire clinic should be shut down for medical malpractice.

Kat R was the absolute best. She was competent, funny when I needed it, compassionate when I didn't know I needed it. If possible, I would ask for her anytime I was here. Everyone was great. She was beyond. Thanks for making my experience better. You're the best.

If your ONLY goal is IVF….. oh boy this place is for you. If you have any other ideas besides IVF , Run as fast as you can away from this place. After mentioning many many times we were not interested in IVF just looking into fertility issues that was not heard in the slightest, ONLY a HARD sell into IVF and quite frankly a rude doctor on top of it. This is just my experience and I assume they do a good job at IVF but that wasn’t my goal.

They only care about you if you pump them full of money. How do I know? 1) Read our experience. 2) Notice in reviews THEY ONLY RESPOND TO POSITIVE REVIEWS. They leave all the one star reviews completely alone. Shows where their priority is.

They only care about you if you can give them business- if you happen to not be able to have children, they IMMEDIATELY cast you aside. No follow-up. No next steps. No resemblance of compassion for people’s lives you’ve turned upside down. Just cast us aside like trash because we were of no use to them anymore. Unbelievable you guys do that- completely ditch your clients.

Also, to even talk with them or get in the door, you need a “consultation”. You go in to this consultation just for them to tell you they need data. So you spend $270 immediately to be told you need tests done.

They also like to “divide and conquer”. If a procedure is needed, they have YOU drive over the specimen to them, even though they had numerous people there from Shady Grove going back to Shady Gove’s site. They drop the bad news on your partner while you’re still under. Then they make your partner drive alone to drop off the specimen. Then they wake you up while your partner is gone, and drop the bad news on you. My partner had to deal with it alone, as did I.

A TRULY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE, FIND ANOTHER FERTILITY CLINIC WITH PASSION. THIS ONE ONLY SEES DOLLAR SIGNS WHEN YOU WALK IN. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This a long overdue. Dr. Rocea is simply amazing. I was told I would not be able to get pregnant on my own and she not only was willing to try but also was supportive and encouraging along the way. My little boy is a blessing and many thanks to this wonderful physician and the whole group at Shady Grove. It takes a village and I was thankful to have you with me along the way.
