Dr. B, Molly PA-C, Brittany RN, Megan RN, Adam and all of the staff at Shady Grove were absolutely fantastic and constantly went above and beyond for us. Any questions we had, they responded right away and provided the positivity and reassurance you need when going through this journey. We would not be 8 weeks pregnant without everyone at Shady Grove. Dr. B was an exceptional provider who genuinely cared about me and my family. She took the best care of us and always made me feel supported through a very emotional process. However, the clinic’s rule of not allowing siblings creates a real barrier for families experiencing secondary infertility. Because appointments often depend on same-day bloodwork or ultrasounds, we had to skip multiple months due to not having 24/7 childcare and the clinics policy of not allowing my 7 year old accompany me to 5 min appointments to get daily bloodwork, etc. This policy feels discriminatory toward families like ours and made an already stressful process even harder. Overall, we ended up having a really great experience with the staff and had our miracle baby this past Spring. I am grateful to have had such amazing care from Dr. B and the team. I hope Shady Grove is open to supporting all families experiencing different levels of infertility moving forward.
