We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gay and his staff! We switched to this clinic after not enjoying our initial consultation and work up with another clinic. I was nervous because I really wanted to find a doctor and facility I felt comfortable in! Dr. Gay and staff were always attentive, welcoming, and took all the time I needed for any questions or concerns. Response times through the portal were very quick. Appointments were very quick and easy to get to work since they have very early options! Dr. Gay took the time to talk through our results and discussed pros and cons of all fertility treatment options, we did not feel rushing into IVF what so ever and ended up getting pregnant with the clinic with a less invasive treatment option!

We are so thankful and grateful for shady grove fertility after trying for 2+ years. And can’t wait to welcome our little one in September! If you are considering fertility treatments I highly recommend SGF!

This was really disappointing, and I highly recommend avoiding this place because it’s a waste of your time. My husband and I decided to start going here because we knew someone who had a good experience. I made an appointment and started working on my intake form online, had previous records from another clinic faxed over, uploaded results to my portal, etc. I was receiving daily emails stating that my intake form needed to be completed or they would cancel my consultation with the doctor. I wasn’t submitting the intake because I was having an issue with it. I was also getting emails saying I had to send any previous records over before my consultation. I attempted leaving multiple voicemails and portal messages on Dr. Gay’s clinical voicemail. I also attempted calling the front desk, and it would just ring on end. I had my consultation with the doctor, and I expressed this problem, and he told me to wait until 3 days later and call them if I hadn’t heard from them yet. Sure enough, I didn’t hear from them, so I called and finally got in touch with someone. That person was very nice and said she was having a meeting with the team to discuss it, and that the clinical care coordinator who usually handled the communication was no longer with them, so this was likely why, and she was going to have a patient care coordinator contact me. Several days later, the “new” patient care coordinator called me and basically had zero information, just sat on the phone and said “ummmm” the whole time. I got no direction or help whatsoever. But, they were quick to send over a detailed list of what the financial side would look like – didn’t respond to my reply on that, either. Please don’t waste your time here, they don’t seem to care about their patients.

I am SO confused how they have so many positive reviews. They seem to respond to the positive, but not the negative. Shocker.

After “trying” for a few years, we were referred to Shady Grove by my OBGYN, and we are so happy with our decision to work with them on growing our family. After two egg retrievals (expertly done by Dr. Gay and Dr. Namnoum) and one transfer cycle in January (also Dr. Namnoum), we just happily welcomed our healthy baby boy this month. Special shoutouts to nurse Katie who was excellent at communicating with us every step of the way, answering questions and easing my fears, Amy who made daily/weekly ultrasounds a breeze, and Jasmine who was a wonderful welcoming face doing bloodwork and vitals every time I went to the Alpharetta office. Highly recommend this practice!

My partner and I had an amazing experience with Shady Grove. A special thanks to the Alpharetta staff, especially Nurse Katie and Dr. Gay. Our experience with Shady Grove was pleasant from our consultation all the way to our OB graduation date with a positive pregnancy! The Shady Grove staff is very empathetic and attentive throughout the entire process, regardless of why you are there. They are not judgmental and I felt like I always had their undivided attention. Thank you Shady Grove for the great experience in helping us start our family.

BE AWARE- Check your medical bills and make sure they run everything through your insurance. They told me I was going to have to pay out of pocket because my insurance doesn’t cover the hsg test. They were arguing with me about it. I finally had them run it through the insurance… lo and behold… my insurance paid for 90% of the test. Also, they put tri intercourse cycle on my bill which is literally being intimate with your partner and tracking ovulation on your own… when asked about this, billing said it was a mistake on their part. Yeah no. Also, my husband and I got a ton of testing done which we were told the tests came back great and we don’t have any issues. Then they proceeded we need to go straight to Ivf. Thats when we knew it was time to leave Shady Grove.
I don’t want anyone else to deal what I had to deal with. It’s taken me a few months to finally write this review.

UPDATE: We welcomed our beautiful baby girl on 12/10/24. We have been wanting. Child for two years and they made our dreams come true. We owe you all so much.

Shady Grove has made my fertility journey very smooth and less stress as possible in such a stressful time in your life! A special shout out to Sharon P who does the bloodwork! She is so nice and always has a smile on her face! It makes the process so much easier when people are nice and friendly! So glad I found Shady Grove! I also love all the doctors I have met a few of them, my doctor Dr. Libby is amazing! She always made me feel better during my process and was always answering all my questions! Such a great clinic! Couldn’t say anything but a positive experience!

Dr. Steven Gay and his staff at shady Grove are amazing.First off i ran late because of traffic and the lady at the front desk was accommodating and kind enough to have us still come to our appointment and extended a very warm and heartfelt greeting. When we met with Dr. Gay, He was very patient and extremely gracious explained as much as possible about our steps ahead and was very reassuring about what was about to take place going forward and that it will always be in the best interest of what we as the patients would like. Qiani our case manager was sincere and very informative as well, she was kind and laid out our entire action plan that made me feel at ease. Jasmine was beyond amazing and she was so very kind and gentle and she made us feel cared for while she was doing the bloodwork, loved her.This time can be a very stressful time and the staff at Shady Grove did not at anytime make us feel uncomfortable as I have faced in the past. Highly recommend them. Thank You for being the amazing staff that you are and assuring my husband and I that we made the best choice to come to Shady Grove.
