The medical care was excellent. Dr. Shah, his nurses, and the front desk staff were all kind, professional, and truly supportive throughout my treatment. From a clinical standpoint, I felt well cared for, and I’m grateful for the amazing outcome of my baby boy. (Photo attached) Unfortunately, the billing and financial department was a very different experience. I was charged more out of pocket than my insurance was billed (with over 30,000 of ART Fertility coverage), double-charged for embryo storage, and overcharged for other services. Reconciling these issues was extremely difficult, with multiple calls and emails to Elizabeth Rodriguez (financial educator) going unanswered. Because the charges did not match the finalized EOBs, our FSA card was locked, creating additional stress during an already emotional process. My pregnancy is high risk and we need our FSA card for MFM appointments, but we cannot use it until we pay back $500 which we paid to this clinic. Which means that this will be yet another service that I am double paying for. The medical team deserves praise, but the financial side needs significant improvement in transparency, accuracy, and responsiveness. I hope this feedback helps improve the overall patient experience, because the care itself was beyond excellent. Thank you to DR. SHAH and HIS TEAM. You guys helped us receive our biggest blessing!

Biggest opportunity is that they do not communicate with you if your provider needs authorization. Also communication with emails they failed to respond.

I contacted this clinic because I am considering going through IVF with my current husband. I had a bilateral salpingectomy after I finished having children in my last marriage and decided I didn’t want anymore. I have since changed my mind and my husband and I want children together. I called the clinic after they had left me a voicemail to give them a call and started asking questions about the process and the length of time that it would potentially take to do a complete IVF process from fertility meds to fertilized embryo transfer. The lady on the phone, who mumbled her name so I am not sure what it was, but I believe she said Jennifer, refused to answer any of my questions besides one about pricing. When I said OK thank you. She instantly hung up the phone so I was not able to ask any more questions. She didn’t ask if I had more questions or say goodbye or anything of that nature. I was very interested in doing IVF through this clinic however, due to this one phone call I feel like they do not care and it would be a terrible experience. As someone that has done two egg donations, and two separate surrogacies for other families I feel like this should’ve been a more personal phone call and it should have made me feel comfortable. She also could have done a much better job answering my questions instead of blowing me off and only giving me the answer to the pricing question. We were pretty much ready to set up a consultation and start with this clinic based off of what we had read and researched however, at this point, they are not even a top 10 contender of who we will be going with for our fertility treatments.

Excellent fertility clinic! I was very impressed with the level of care. From the front desk staff, financial staff, phlebotomist, to the doctor, everyone was kind, professional, and supportive throughout the process. Nurses Liz and Brittany were especially helpful and made everything smooth and stress-free. My doctor, Dr. O'Hearn, provides outstanding care, and we truly appreciate her. Highly recommend this clinic!
