What I especially appreciate: Despite their daily routine, the two doctors don't seem jaded at all. I went to Dr. Pitone on a recommendation, and she's a nice person, no doubt. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough when spending so much money. There was a problem with the egg retrieval and sperm collection because the sperm weren't very motile, and more were needed that same day. I then suggested that because there were so few, my eggs should be frozen, and we could come back another time. My husband had also had surgery six months prior, which could have been the reason. But strangely, the doctor came back afterward and said they could be transferred after all, which seemed a bit odd. Because of the strong recommendation, I didn't think much of it at the time. When the embryos were transferred, the doctor herself wasn't there and asked her colleague to do it. The colleague didn't know anything about my medical history, and even though I pointed out that I'd already had two miscarriages and needed a lot of IVF and definitely aspirin or injections, she said it wasn't necessary. Naturally, it didn't work. For fun, I had to throw away a lot of money again for nothing. After the failed attempt, I asked several gynecologists, including two good friends and the University Hospital in Münster, who told me that because I have a blood clotting disorder, I definitely would have needed an injection. Dr. Pitone, the doctor, was aware of this and denied that it was the cause. I think it's great that some people here have been lucky and somehow managed to have a baby, but it's really just a money-making scheme, like everywhere else. If I had known it would turn out this way, I would definitely have had it done abroad, which would be much cheaper and safer than in Cyprus or the Czech Republic. Just saying!!

But when I briefly explained my situation, I was immediately brushed off! Since I 'only' want to have my hormonal imbalance treated and don't have any desire to have children, I can't get an appointment!
