On‑site laboratory analysis enables same‑day results for semen analysis and hormone tests. Patients report receiving their reports within minutes to an hour, which speeds up decision‑making and reduces anxiety.

What to watch out for at ReproMed Dublin?

  • warning Inconsistent Nursing Skill

Some patients experienced painful complications during egg‑freezing procedures due to unqualified nursing technique, including ruptured veins and prolonged arm discomfort. These incidents highlight variability in procedural competence.

  • warning Rude or Dismissive Staff

Several accounts mention lab technicians and administrative personnel who were abrupt, unhelpful, or failed to provide proper orientation. This behavior undermines the otherwise caring environment and can increase patient anxiety.

  • warning Perceived Focus on Payments

Patients report being asked for payment before tests are performed and feeling pressured to purchase additional services. The requirement for separate consultations to release test results contributes to a perception that financial considerations outweigh patient care.

  • warning Limited Thoroughness in Testing

Critiques note insufficient pre‑treatment investigations, such as missing hormone panels, thyroid checks, and detailed ultrasound assessments. Some patients feel that treatment plans are based on limited data, reducing confidence in outcomes.

RUN AWAY AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME I deeply regret choosing this clinic for IVF treatment. My experience has been marked by poor medical oversight, lack of transparency, questionable clinical decisions, and a clear prioritization of revenue over patient well-being. During my first IVF attempt, I had 5 fertilized embryos. Two degenerated, and one was categorized as 5CC — which is still considered viable and commonly transferred in many successful pregnancies. Instead of discussing this with me, the clinic discarded it without my consent or prior consultation. That is unacceptable and disrespectful to a patient’s rights and reproductive opportunities. At the time of my first frozen embryo transfer, my anti-TPO antibodies were around 900 and my TSH was 3.80 — both highly relevant to autoimmune fertility outcomes. The clinic had these results and completely ignored them. No one discussed thyroid factors, implantation risk, or protocols to reduce antibodies. As expected, that embryo did not implant. For the second frozen embryo transfer, they required an additional expensive HCG flush. The next day, I was told the embryo did not survive the thawing — or potentially that an error occurred during thawing — but with no explanation and zero accountability. There was, of course, no refund for this failure. Just 5 days later, they pushed me into another stimulation cycle, changing the protocol from antagonist to agonist. The result was only 3 eggs collected, just 1 mature, and another failure. During this cycle, they also never rechecked my TSH or anti-TPO levels, despite their known clinical importance. Before egg retrieval, they already knew I had only 4 follicles, but they never asked whether I wished to proceed or cancel — they simply pushed me into the procedure, treating me like a paying subject rather than an informed patient. From my experience, Dr. Andreas and this clinic demonstrated unprofessionalism, disregard for informed consent, and a financial-driven approach that overshadows patient care. I lost time, money, and emotional energy — and when I requested a refund due to the failed stimulation and mishandling of embryos, it was promptly denied. This clinic did not respect my medical results, my reproductive options, or my right to informed decision-making. If you value ethical treatment, honest communication, and proper medical care — avoid this clinic entirely.

We absolutely could not fault any of the care we received at Repromed - both in their Kilkenny clinic and Dublin. Nikita and Anna in Kilkenny are two of the nicest people we’ve ever met and it felt like they went through this fertility journey with us. We never felt like we couldn’t ask for anything to be explained and no question or request was silly. We are currently 20 weeks pregnant with our little IUI baby after 3 tries, and we felt like Repromed felt each disappointment at every failed try, and all the excitement when we finally got that positive result. We will definitely be returning to Repromed again for baby number 2. Honestly could not recommend them enough especially the girls in Kilkenny, and we will happily tell that to anyone who asks us where our little baby came from. - Niamh and Mollie

We did our very first step of infertility treatment with Repromed. I was prescribed the supplement even they knew my issue with fibroid. Over 6 months, my fibroids were getting bigger that I ended up with Cesarean section at Rotunda. I was advised that I needed to do the IVF to minimize the risk and I followed the consultant. I ended up with only 1 high quality embryo even they checked carefully and confirmed we were at good health with the process. After wasting my time following all the procedures, I ended up with an ectopic pregnancy even I also had the embryo clue. I totally understand IVF is not easy and you might not be lucky and you might not succeed. Yet, I went back to my home country last year and my AMH dropped dramatically when I wasted my time with Repromed but they managed to develop 6 embryos for me and successfully with my IVF with the total cost less than half of the amount I paid in Repromed. Again, I was quite struggling to get my medical report from Repromed. When I failed, they asked me about the experience. To be very honest, medication is very important but they blamed on Covid to give me a call from the nursing team with unclear instructions, no reminders. I hope this comment will help for improvement and for all the patients to consider carefully before treatment to avoid wasting time that your egg reserves will drop over the time

What IVF laboratory technology does ReproMed use? expand_more
ReproMed’s IVF laboratory is equipped with cutting‑edge technology to optimise embryo development. The clinic recently invested €1.5 million in a state‑of‑the‑art lab, featuring a ZYMOT microfluidic device that enhances sperm selection for ICSI, a time‑lapse incubator (available for an additional €595) for continuous embryo monitoring, and EmbryoGlue to improve implantation. Cryopreservation systems enable secure vitrification of eggs and embryos, while EU viral screening ensures safety. All procedures adhere to international quality standards, and the laboratory’s advanced equipment contributes to the clinic’s high pregnancy and live‑birth rates.

For donor‑egg cycles, the clinic’s Ovumia programme accepts recipients up to age 47, while the ISCARE anonymous programme extends eligibility to age 49. These age thresholds reflect donor‑egg availability and regulatory guidelines. The clinic also provides detailed counselling on age‑related success rates, noting that pregnancy rates decline with advancing maternal age, and offers alternative options such as egg freezing or donor‑egg IVF to optimise outcomes for older patients.
