I am writing this on behalf of my sister to warn other women considering RMA Seattle for egg freezing. My sister is a healthy 30-year-old with no pre-existing conditions, yet her cycle here has been a complete failure due to what appears to be severe under-medication and negligence. Having gone through egg freezing myself at a different clinic, the contrast in care is shocking. Questionable Dosing: RMA prescribed her a daily total of only 25 IU of Gonal-f. For comparison, my standard protocol was 300 IU daily (150 IU 2x/day). That is a massive discrepancy that seemingly resulted in zero response. Lack of Monitoring: By Day 10 of stimulation, RMA had only brought her in twice for monitoring. By Day 10 at my clinic, I had already had four ultrasounds/blood draws to adjust dosing in real-time. Because RMA wasn't looking, they didn't catch that she wasn't responding until it was too late. No Access to Doctors: The most egregious part is that she hasn't been seen by a single doctor. When we realized on Day 11 that she had only one potential egg (and might be cancelled entirely), we asked to speak to a doctor. We were told the earliest availability was a video call one week later—completely useless during a time-sensitive cycle. My sister has injected herself for 11 days for absolutely no benefit, only risk, because this clinic failed to monitor and medicate her correctly. We are now reaching out to other clinics (POMA/SRM/PNWF) to try to salvage this. Please do your research before trusting your fertility to RMA Seattle.

I had a very disappointing experience at RMA seattle for my egg freezing cycle. I’m 30 with high AMH and a high follicle count, yet by day 11 of stimulation I was left with only one dominant follicle and the rest immature. Monitoring was pretty sparse even late in the cycle (labs every 3–4 days), medication doses remained very low aside from one small increase, and medication adjustments were minimal despite a poor response. I was on 25 IU Gonal-F (later 37.5 IU) and 75 IU Menopur, which felt inadequate given my cycle progress. Most concerning was the lack of physician involvement. I never spoke with Dr Lin during my cycle. When I asked to talk with her about the disappointing outcome, I was told she was too busy and that there were no openings until the following week (Paulinna was out of office). Being unable to speak with the doctor during an active, failing cycle felt awful. Egg freezing is not a casual process... it’s expensive, time-sensitive, and emotionally taxing. I picked this clinic based on their reviews -- I expected closer oversight, responsive care, and access to my physician. Unfortunately, this experience felt rushed, under-monitored, and impersonal. The positives? The nurses and my coordinator were kind, and now I fear needles a little less.

We should have known at our first appointment when a picture came off the wall and whacked my husband in the head, leaving a knot for a couple days that this office was a mess. Terrible communication. Was told many times I would hear from my patient coordinator and never got a call. We’ve consulted with five clinics and the communication at RMA has been the absolute worst. Go anywhere else. They do not have any sensitivity for how precious each week in this process is. Cherry on the cake was 5.5 weeks after our last appointment, my husband and I took time off work for the appointment, just to have them tell us RMA doesn’t want to take us on a patients because of a previous health issue. We did not need to take time off work to be told that. When they were scheduling the appointment I said over and over that we just needed to know if we were approved for care….instead we had to wait another week and half and take time of work for the rejection. Much, much better experience at Pinnacle Fertility.

Alert if you think in IVF! I had a poor experience at RMA Seattle. Communication was extremely difficult, scheduling required dozens of calls, and my medical concerns were dismissed. What concerned me most was the behavior of the Seattle manager. She never identified herself by name, defended an inexperienced front‑desk staff member who did not understand patient requests, and then personally called to cancel my appointment based on her own judgment. She also crossed a professional line by contacting my doctor directly without my consent—something that should be audited at a franchise level. When I later requested my records, the report had no medical signature becauce their baseline are not performance by doctors and included an unexplained internal alert saying “PATIENT: ALERT – DO NOT SCHEDULE.” The manager form Seattle lost her mind This raised serious concerns about their administrative practices and how they handle patient feedback and they discriminate people. I ultimately sought care elsewhere to ensure safe and consistent IVF monitoring.

Overall the care was so so in my opinion but we did hit some bumps in the road with my protocols and coordination of my care. I brought my concerns directly to Dr. Lin and she apologized and offered to credit/refund me for a small part of what I paid for my treatment plan due to how upset I was and the examples showing lack of details in my coordination. I spent hours driving around back and forth from my home to Bellevue to track down meds I needed and ended up having to take time off work due to the sensitive timing of meds. This was because their coordinators weren't on top of what i needed and how much by when. She offered to compensate me for some of my time and frustration but I have yet to see a penny of that. Ive been reaching out to the office for months and just keep getting the run around. So I don't find it professional for a DR. To offer compensation as a solution to the problem only to lie to keep me as a patient. That is not good business nor a clinic I would go back to.
