We can't say enough great things about RMIA. Our experience with them so far has been incredible, from receptionists, nurses to Dr. Jensen. From our initial call with Dr. Jensen I could immediately tell that she had fully read our case. (Which I haven't always experienced with new doctors, I feel like they wait for you to tell them again in person) She has explained all of my complicated medical stuff so well that we fully understand everything. We also LOVE her nursing staff. Michelle was always so nice and very patient during ultrasounds. Kari (could be spelled Karrie or Carrie) was my all time favorite nurse. She was with me during all my IVF checkups and on egg retrieval day. She's so kind and patient and took amazing care of me when I was feeling so terrible from anesthesia. Will update more after we get completely through the whole process, but we've been so impressed so far! Highly recommend RMIA. We mainly were at the Woodbury location, however Edina staff were great too. THANK YOU Ana + David

This is our experience and the rating has mostly to do with Dr. Jensen and the poor communication. It'll be long but for those choosing between IVF clinics I hope it helps. I waited a year to write this to make sure not all IVF clinics were like RMIA, they aren't. Here is a bullet point version: Pros: 1. Overall kind staff, lab ladies were the best! 2. Tina! One of the RN's who was always there to save the day. 3. 20% off for teachers Cons: 1. Dr. Jensen, she shouldn't be allowed to work with patients (second to last paragraph for why). 2. Communication. They have changed to having teams, so hopefully it got better? It can't get worse than it was. 3. Cookie cutter medical plans. Once you get past the waiting period you get your first appointment, which isn't an appointment. It is a $400 sales pitch on why you should pick them and what the IVF process is. A few weeks later they go over your records and have a real appointment talking about your plan. This is roughly a 2 month process, at least it was for us. During these appointments you will be promised everything you ask for. Just know that you won't get any of that. This is a one size fits all clinic. The first in person appointment with the nurses was great. All the nurses were very kind and the one who explained the medication schedule was great! It was all downhill for there. Each following appointment we were told different information by each person we talked with. Dr. Jensen says one thing, nurse says Jensen changed her mind, and so on. Communication was terrible and the nurses, although kind, were clueless outside of their scripts (this doesn't include Tina who is amazing!). At no point were we able to contact Dr. Jensen about anything. Went through the retrieval process, terribly confused on why our numbers were so low and why we couldn't up the medication, never got an answer. Got a few eggs and ended with two embryo's (the next clinic we had 9). Of course we wanted to proceed to transfer as soon as we could and because of that they refused to have an appointment to go over the retrieval process we just went through (which we were scolded for twice by one of the nurses). We told Dr. Jensen some of the meds were going to cause problems, migraines mainly. We knew this from using them with our infertility doctor. Pill vs gel suppositories and oral estrogen vs patches. We were told we could only use the brand and type they said, Ferring products, no deviations. Transfer time came and all went well. We waited for results and we had a chemical. Then we get to do our after transfer meeting to see what could be done better and what went wrong. I was at the first half of the meeting, which went fine. After I left is when it went terrible. Dr. Jensen started personally attacking my wife. Told her she wasn't mentally healthy enough to do IVF. She told my wife our marriage was going to fail and we should wait to be parents. Told my wife that I was abusive to the nurses and was not welcome in the clinic. Obviously I wasn't, I just questioned... well everyone, due to conflicting information the whole time. If you get someone other than Dr. Jensen it might not be too bad but she is something else. CCRM was our first pick but the 20% off for teachers was too hard to pass up. We regret it immensely and ended up back at CCRM.

What a wonderful place! After not being able to find the answers we were looking for with our local clinic, we decided to seek out a specialty fertility clinic. We are incredibly happy with the staff and our experience with RMIA! Everyone was super friendly, caring, understanding and compassionate our whole journey! We ended up doing IVF with one retrieval. We were able to get three normal embryos out of our cycle and are currently pregnant with our first transfer! Thank you so much and we will definitely be back when we plan to expand our family!

I cannot recommend RMIA strongly enough! Every single member of the staff treated me with such genuine kindness and care. After working with the team for 8 months, I felt like I was visiting with friends every time I went in. I cannot express what a gift this team was for me in such a difficult time! Dr. Jensen was a dream to work with; she is so personable, articulate, and always clearly laid out the options for us. We felt like we had a lot of voice in our process and are now so grateful to say that we are pregnant, after numerous rounds of IUI. We can’t thank RMIA enough!
