Frustrating experience with unfriendly staff and bad communication at the IVF clinic.

I have to say every one at the Madison clinic are by far the most sweetest people I have ever met! Including Dr Parry himself! You can tell that they genuinely want to do anything they can to help you on your TTC journey. I have finally had my first scope done and I was so scared but the sweet nurses/ staff made my experience so much better and made it go by like a breeze! Me and my husband have been experiencing infertility for over a year and a half now and I finally feel like me and my husband have a chance at conceiving and it is all because Dr Parry’s positivity in helping us! Me and my husband are choosing to do IUI and I feel like we are going to be in the very best care at the Madison clinic I’m truly thankful to be a patient at such a wonderful clinic!❤️.

Friendly and professional staff, but expensive and lengthy waiting times.

I want to give this place 20 stars if I can! This place is amazing! I have been struggling with infertility for many years, and we went to different places, and this is the only place who really cares about the patient, and they understand how difficult it is to have infertility! I had an appointment to have the scope, and i asked the doctor to bring my kid with me, he said yes of course, and that’s never happened before with other places, they usually refuse to bring children, and that was very hard for us because we don’t have anyone near us who can take care of our kid. All the nurses I met are very nice and kind, they are trying their best to make you feel comfortable and explain everything to me. I had the chance to meet Ms Vicky& Lauren and they both are amazing. Ms Lauren called us before the appointment and she spent almost an hour to make sure she gathered all the information she needs, she was very patient with me, she asked me almost everything to make sure she got enough information about my issues. Ms Vicky was so kind she tried her best to make me feel comfortable and she answered all our questions, she was smiling all the time, and that’s absolutely helped me to stay calm during the scope. Dr parry is very smart he did a thorough assessment for me, he told us everything in details and explained our options. The scope test was very simple and quick. I highly recommend this place, keep up the great work. Thank you for taking care of us. Absolutely we will come again and start our journey with you.

No one goes through their life, dreaming of having a family, expecting to find themselves walking through the doors of a fertility clinic for something that seems so biologically “natural”. But what may be easier for some, is certainly not for others. When we walked through the doors of Positive Steps for the first time, we were terrified, overwhelmed, and overall uncertain of what the future may hold for our family. Dr. Parry and his incredible staff met us with peace and comfort, from our very first visit (filled with sadness and confusion) until our very last (filled with the most joy we could imagine). After a long roller coaster of highs and lows, we are now proudly expecting our first child thanks to the wonderful team at Positive Steps. Along with Dr. Parry, it would not feel right without a special shout out to Vicki, Lauren, Brittany, and Mandy who made us feel like family from day 1. We will never forget the comfort these people have brought us and could not imagine getting through it without them!

Does Positive Steps Fertility treat single women seeking fertility treatment? expand_more
Positive Steps Fertility explicitly welcomes single women who wish to pursue fertility treatment. The clinic offers tailored options such as egg freezing for future family building, donor‑egg IVF cycles, and intrauterine insemination (IUI) using donor sperm. Single patients receive the same comprehensive diagnostic work‑up—including the Parryscope® test—and personalized care plans as couples, ensuring equitable access to all assisted reproduction technologies, from IVF with preimplantation genetic testing to embryo cryopreservation.
Does Positive Steps Fertility offer egg donation for IVF treatment? expand_more
Yes, Positive Steps Fertility runs a comprehensive egg donation program. The clinic matches recipients with screened donors aged 21 to 29, ensuring high‑quality oocytes for optimal IVF outcomes. Donor screening includes thorough medical, genetic, and psychological evaluations, and all eggs are retrieved using standard controlled ovarian hyperstimulation protocols before being fertilized with the intended partner’s or donor sperm. The resulting embryos are transferred to the recipient’s uterus, and national data show live‑birth rates of approximately 51% for donor‑egg cycles, a figure the clinic strives to meet or exceed through its experienced embryology team and individualized treatment plans.
What is the history and background of Positive Steps Fertility? expand_more
Positive Steps Fertility was founded in the fall of 2017 by Dr. John Preston Parry after his six‑year tenure as chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Since opening its first clinic in Madison, Mississippi, the practice has expanded to multiple locations across Mississippi and Louisiana, including satellite offices in Hattiesburg, Starkville, Gulfport, Shreveport, Monroe and Slidell. The clinic is recognized for pioneering the Parryscope® diagnostic technique, which replaces traditional HSG testing with a rapid, minimally invasive assessment of ovarian reserve, tubal patency, and uterine factors. Accreditation by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and ongoing participation in national registries underscore its commitment to quality and innovation.
What fertility treatments and services does Positive Steps Fertility offer? expand_more
Positive Steps Fertility provides a full spectrum of assisted reproductive technologies. Core services include in‑vitro fertilization (IVF) with optional intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for male‑factor cases, and intrauterine insemination (IUI) for milder infertility. The clinic offers egg freezing and embryo cryopreservation for fertility preservation, as well as a donor‑egg program for patients with diminished ovarian reserve. Advanced options such as preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT‑A) and the Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA) test are available to improve implantation success. Additionally, the patented Parryscope® fertility test evaluates ovarian reserve, tubal patency, and uterine receptivity in a single office visit, streamlining the diagnostic process.
What are the IVF success rates at Positive Steps Fertility? expand_more
Positive Steps Fertility reports cumulative pregnancy rates exceeding 70% when multiple embryo transfers are considered within a single IVF cycle, based on data from the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). The clinic attributes these outcomes to personalized ovarian stimulation protocols, meticulous embryo culture, and the option to perform preimplantation genetic testing (PGT‑A) to select the healthiest embryos. Patients who use donor eggs see similarly strong results, with national averages for donor‑egg cycles hovering around a 50‑55% live‑birth rate, which the clinic mirrors through its experienced embryology team. Ongoing quality audits and adherence to ASRM laboratory standards help maintain these high success metrics.
Does Positive Steps Fertility provide fertility treatment for same-sex couples? expand_more
Positive Steps Fertility is committed to serving LGBTQ+ families and provides inclusive fertility services for same‑sex couples. Lesbian couples can choose donor‑egg IVF, reciprocal IVF (where one partner provides the egg and the other carries the pregnancy), or IUI with donor sperm. Gay male couples are supported through egg‑donor IVF combined with gestational carrier surrogacy. The clinic’s team is experienced in coordinating donor gametes, legal agreements, and embryo transfer logistics, ensuring a supportive and respectful environment for all family‑building journeys.
