Multiple patients report successful births, including natural pregnancies after comprehensive diagnostics. What to watch out for at PCRM: The Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine?

  • warning Inconsistent Provider Continuity

Many patients encounter different doctors and nurses at each visit, leading to fragmented care. Lack of continuity hampers relationship building and creates confusion about treatment histories. This inconsistency is cited as a source of frustration and reduced confidence.

  • warning Communication and Administrative Delays

Long wait times for tests, delayed callbacks, and a frequently malfunctioning patient app are common complaints. Policies such as restricting partner attendance and unclear referral requirements cause additional stress. Administrative staff are sometimes described as disinterested or unhelpful.

  • warning Cost Transparency and Storage Fee Increases

Storage fees for frozen embryos have risen by approximately 10% annually, with no clear future pricing disclosed. Patients report surprise at extra charges for monitoring, ultrasound appointments, and cancellation fees. The lack of upfront cost information contributes to financial uncertainty.

  • warning Early Push for Donor Gametes and Limited Empathy

Some patients experience premature recommendations for donor eggs or sperm, even after unsuccessful cycles, which they find triggering. Staff responses to miscarriages and failed transfers are occasionally described as cold or dismissive. This perceived lack of empathy undermines the clinic’s supportive reputation.

After seeing all the bad reviews of PCRM, I was hesitant to be referred here even after they came recommended to me. I’m here to say - Don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. We started our journey with them to further investigate why we had not conceived. Not once did we feel pressured into any form of treatment. Our journey with unexplained infertility spanned many long, hard years and we eventually chose to pursue treatment. Thanks to the professional and knowledgeable doctors and staff at PCRM, my story has a happy ending. My little miracle was born in January. Throughout the journey, we were treated kindly by everyone we encountered. The staff were always quick to respond and very helpful. I can confidently recommend PCRM to anyone who is struggling with infertility.

I did my egg freezing at PCRM The Pacific Centre for Reproductive Medicine, and I had a truly great experience. From the reception team to the nurses, pharmacy staff, and doctors everyone was not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and supportive. I felt cared for throughout the entire process💕, and I’m very happy that I chose this clinic for my fertility journey.
They were very active through the app, with clear instructions for all medications. The app itself is amazing it allowed me to check what I needed to do each day and mark tasks as completed, and all the necessary documents were always easy to find. Every time I sent a question through the app, I received immediate and clear responses.💕

On the day of the egg retrieval, I felt nothing during the procedure, and when it was done, I woke up with no pain. Honestly, I even wondered if they had already done it😹 The team was incredibly caring and made sure to let my sister know as soon as I was ready. The next day, they sent me detailed information about the results, and I was beyond happy.
I am grateful to everyone I spoke to and met in this clinic

PCRM was an incredible place to enter into my IVF process with. From the care teams, to the facility, and expertise as someone not knowing what to expect I felt a lot of comfort and confidence throughout the process. What I really appreciated as well was the post egg retrieval care that really made the experience that much more robust.

Their timelines were very realistic and so was their advice and information. Items were never left up to question. They were also incredibly responsive during the process, even on weekends and after hours. I also found the ultrasound appointments and daytime appointments to run very on time, which is nice since I work in office for most days of the week.

I had Dr. Dilin Fernando and he was great. Very realistic and upfront which I always appreciated and took the time to calm me down before the egg retrieval as well. Although doctors cannot be 100% sure of the results he did a really great job of catering my plan towards my body.

I would highly recommend PCRM especially if this is your first time as well starting IVF as they are a great team of nurses and doctors to really walk you through the process.

PCRM provided me with the best experience from start to finish. The nurses/staff are amazing at getting back to you over the app within a reasonable amount of time. They answer any and all questions without hesitancy. My Dr was Dr. Fernando and he was clear with me from the beginning how he was going to go about my IVF and made sure I was on the same page the whole time. You see multiple doctors which is very normal ( I see other reviews complaining about this but the reality is your dr isnt going to work every single day.) I had great experiences with the other Dr's. Specifically Dr. Seethram and Dr.Havelock were also great. I am very fortunate to have success with IVF and I am grateful to PCRM for not only making that possible but making my experience better than I could of hoped.
