My experience in 2024 with this clinic has been disastrous, two IVF attempts and none were transferred, in the last attempt of 6 eggs I lost almost all of them by the day of extraction and they were only able to extract one. Apart from that, the gynecologist who was handling my case informed me on Wednesday that she was going on vacation and that on Friday they would tell me what day the extraction would be. On Friday, a doctor saw us who had barely read our history. I did not use the medication indicated for the end of the stimulation that she had already purchased because she decided due to my insistence that the eggs would be extracted on Saturday and there was no longer time, I had to pay for a different medication. The result was the same embryo that did not reach a blastocyst.
After this second IVF attempt I made an appointment with Dr. Lacarcel for the check-up, the only doctor worth having in this clinic, she and the former director who died a year ago. Dr. Lacarcel, who no longer works here, took the time to stop the consultation, read our entire history, ask my partner and I things, and explain everything well. Despite indicating a closed budget, it is never closed, there are always tests that are not included and you have to pay. After a 6-month break, I was going to resume the process for Ovodonation, but to my surprise they told me on WhatsApp that they did not answer the phone that the basic analyzes that last year were included, this year they are no longer included and are 200eur. That was the final straw, I do not plan to pay more money to this clinic. I will fight in any way I can to recover part of my investment. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this clinic. In none of the appointments did they weigh me or measure or give importance to my insulin resistance. Neither does my partner. Those of you who are already undergoing treatment, I wish you luck, an appreciation I observed in better treatment of the Italian patients who come to this clinic than the Spanish ones.

After a first consultation, on January 9, 2025, where Dr. Nicole and Maria treated us brilliantly, at the clinic in the Salamanca neighborhood, we continued waiting by email for the personalized quote for the treatment that we had discussed for more than 2 hours. After 3 calls indicating that I have not received it. A call from the clinic telling me that I had doubts, I tell them that they have not sent me a quote and they send me via WhatsApp a screenshot with a price without detailing an amortization table where it is assumed that 24 months is interest-free, but with a risk commission that makes you pay €1,200 more…I can’t understand it because no one explains it to me…I’m still waiting for an email today, January 14, and a call to discuss everything. You leave a lot to be desired with this steplessness, yes, on WhatsApp you attach the contract… and at no time have I said yes…
I have been a CUSTOMER of ovoclinic, 2 years, and 5 attempts. I did not get pregnant at term. Now let’s talk about the clinic, which is rather a company in which people are clients, you are a number and the money you give. They don’t advise you on anything, one attempt, another, another and so on, and as you learn, in chat and on the internet, you decide to take tests, consult other specialists and improve things to achieve it. I had a T-shaped uterus and the entire time no one told me to do a 3D echo. It is an incredible lack of professionalism on your part.
I have to say that they have people working there who are wonderful (many of them have already left) in nursing and customer service, but even that in recent times had worsened exponentially.
It is a clinic that I would not recommend to anyone, do not put your hopes in them, unless you consult on your own and decide how to do things and there they only make the embryo and implant it.
To all the people who read this: do PGD on the embryo, check that your uterus is all right, look closely at the endocrine, immunologist and hematologist, and then make attempts. It is a very hard path in which clinics like ovoclinic are not going to help you, you will be JUST ANOTHER CUSTOMER.
I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. After some communication problems (I don’t think WhatsApp is the best way to communicate important information) I can confirm that Rachele and Doctor Oscar are always available. Doctor Oscar is always available to offer new treatment plans and investigations/advice so as not to leave anything out. You feel safe with him. Rachele, thank you for your kindness, for making me feel at home and thank you for putting up with our complaints. Thank you Oscar & Rachele for staying close to us on this journey.

Thank you Ovoclinic because just one year ago today, the “great doctor” Marian, put the miracle of life inside me and for 3 months, my husband and I are the happiest and luckiest in the world to have a wonderful girl with us . Thank you to everyone who treated me so well, from the girls at the reception, nurses, gynecologists and especially Dr. Marisa (professional, friendly and charming) who helped our fertility dream finally come true.
