Great staff! They answered all our questions we had including ones we didn’t think of. They made us feel welcome and were very supportive on a difficult journey. Highly recommend the centre as the staff has so far been incredibly comforting.

I spent $40,000 so you don’t have to. This is a business like any other. Everyone will be accepted and promised the ‘chance’ no matter how unlikely for success. There are protocols God help your biology lines up, because they can’t personalized the routines.

The Dr’s and nurses are very kind when they call with bad news.

If you can get pregnant, then IVF will get you pregnant faster. But for most people, there will not be a happy ending. It about having enough people pay to try than actual successful outcomes. This is a fertility clinic not an infertility clinic. They can’t help you but will take youroney all the same.

For a benchmark, I was quoted 38%. 3 years, 2 failed rounds, the actual answer is 0%

I had a wonderful experience with this fertility clinic. I mostly interacted with Dr. Jackson and her office assistant Judy. They were both amazing and so supportive throughout the process. I also had lots of bloodwork and ultrasounds during my time there and all the technicians and resident doctors I met were amazing. I am very grateful for all the care and kindness I received during my time there.

My doctor referred me to the Ottawa Fertility, I had my first consultation today and they were so helpful. I feel so confident that they’re going to help get to the bottom of what’s going on. They’re website is also well thought out and very helpful and informative. I would highly recommended the Ottawa Fertility Centre to anyone struggling with infertility.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the care I have recieved. Though we haven’t had a successful pregnancy yet, everything is so caring and kind and everyone there is amazing. It’s honestly the greatest service with the kindest people which anyone with infertility needs.

The staff was very enthusiastic and patient, and communicated with me many times in advance by phone and email. The doctor and assistant were also very professional and respectful of visitors.

I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. While many of the nurses and doctors are very kind and empathetic, they are disorganized, make mistakes frequently (miscommunications between doctors and nurses are frequent), oblivious to advances in fertility treatment that are routinely done elsewhere, and inconsistent in how they work with patients. Half the time, the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand’s doing. It’s frustrating as a patient when we’re given 3 different treatment protocols in a week, each time being told this is what the doctor ordered. Or being called by a nurse with test results who says we’re doing a mock cycle when we did an FET weeks ago… and many more similar examples of confused staff that can’t seem to read a chart properly.

Response: I would contact OFC, but nobody seems to return a phone call there. I’ve been trying to schedule testing and even that has been an exercise in frustration. As for protocols, these mistakes had nothing to do with drug shortages, just confused nurses somehow getting or communicating the wrong information about dosage and timing of events. Ottawa desperately needs some competition in this space!

By comparison, in the USA, you’ll pay about the same fees, but you only deal with your own doctor, end of story. None of this back and forth with a dozen different confused nurses, some of which make statements that cause stress and anxiety for no reason as they jump to conclusions without knowing the facts.
