  • check_circle Collaborative Team Approach

What to watch out for at ONE Fertility?

  • warning Poor Communication and Follow-up

Multiple reviews criticize One Fertility for inadequate follow-up communication, especially after important tests or during a pregnancy journey. Patients feel neglected and often have to initiate contact to receive updates or answers, which can create added stress and frustration.

  • warning Feeling Like Just a Number

Many patients express feeling like they were treated as mere statistics rather than individuals with unique needs. The fast-paced environment often results in rushed appointments, contributing to a sense of being devalued despite significant financial investment.

  • warning Limited Personalization in Care Plans

Several patients note a lack of tailored care plans or proactive suggestions for testing and treatments, which leaves them feeling under-supported during complex fertility issues. Some report needing to advocate for their own options, which can be disheartening.

  • warning Long Wait Times for Appointments

Long wait times for both consultation and follow-up appointments are commonly cited, contributing to patient frustration. Delays in receiving critical information or adjustments to treatment can hinder a patient's ability to move forward effectively.

  • warning Mixed Staff Attitudes

While many staff members are praised for their kindness, there are reports of inconsistency in service quality. Some patients experienced rude interactions with reception staff or abruptness from nurses, which negatively impacted their overall clinic experience.

I've been working with ONE for a few months now and I am beyond grateful for all of the staff from nurses to admin to doctors, lab techs, etc. Everyone was been so kind, accommodating and thorough. Nurses and doctors have called back when needed, been extremely helpful and quick and the on-call team was wonderful when I had to go in on a Saturday. My wait times have been great, surprisingly considering how many individuals they serve and how large the clinic is. Hoping we don't have much more time with ONE but luckily have had such an amazing experience given the circumstances.

Did not have a great experience here and thankfully did not have to continue with them. The receptionist is quite rude and it takes forever to get an initial appointment. I’ve also heard they push for IVF quickly without doing enough diagnosis tests. I recommend looking into other fertility clinics if you can, but glad for those who had a better experience than me.

Like others have stated I’m happy to change my review if things change, but I’m tired of trying to advocate for myself to try new protocols or different things when things fail. If something isn’t working, why is Dr. Karnis so against trying something different. Seems like it’s all about just throwing as many embryos in as possible and who cares if one sticks because it just means more money for the clinic. She even told me to keep transferring embryos while I waited for hydrosalpinx surgery which is basically never going to allow an embryo to survive. So glad I didn’t do that and waste anymore. Already inquired with TRIO across the street so if things don’t change for the next transfer I will gladly change to a clinic that actually wants to get me pregnant.

I can’t even get through the phone to speak to them. When you leave a message asking for a call back. You will not receive one. The receptionist is extremely rude.
