I had a great experience with IVF at Olive Fertility. I started the process in November 2023 and was pregnant by May 2024, and I now have a healthy 1 year old boy.

Dr. Tregoning and his team were amazing throughout the entire journey, professional, knowledgeable, and truly supportive during what can be a very emotional process. I always felt well cared for and informed.

The Vancouver location was also a great experience overall. From start to finish, I felt supported and confident in the care I received. I’m incredibly grateful for this clinic and would highly recommend them to anyone going through IVF. Wishing everyone starting this journey all the best of luck 🤍

Whoever was answering the phone today needs better training in basic communication and empathy. I was spoken to in a condescending, judgmental tone about what I “should” have done when i was sick.I acknowledge my mistake, but being talked down to when you’re unwell is unacceptable.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Olive Fertility Clinic, especially Dr. Tregoning, Dr. Huyser, and the wonderful Surrey nursing team. This has been an emotional journey, and I have felt supported every step of the way. My first stimulation cycle resulted in only one egg, which was very discouraging. However, Dr. Tregoning and the team carefully adjusted my treatment plan, and during my second stimulation cycle, 8 eggs were retrieved, resulting in 5 embryos. It was an incredibly emotional and exciting experience, and I’m deeply thankful for their expertise and dedication. I would also like to give special recognition to Kimberly from the nursing team. Her constant encouragement, motivation, and genuinely positive attitude made a huge difference for me, especially during difficult moments. Her support helped me stay hopeful and confident throughout the process. I would also like to thank Dr. Huyser for the ultrasound experience — every appointment was handled with professionalism, patience, and care, which helped ease a lot of anxiety during such a sensitive time. The Surrey team has been kind, responsive, and compassionate throughout my treatment. I truly felt heard and cared for. This is my first review, and I look forward to updating it later as my journey continues.

What are the IVF success rates at Olive Fertility Centre? expand_more
Olive Fertility Centre reports IVF pregnancy rates that consistently exceed national averages across all age groups, positioning the clinic among the highest success providers in Canada. All outcomes are presented using single embryo transfer (SET) with patients' own eggs, and the data are certified by the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) for transparent reporting. While exact percentages vary by age, the centre’s overall success is highlighted by its reputation for achieving above‑average live‑birth rates, especially when employing frozen embryo transfers, which the clinic performs more frequently than fresh cycles. These results reflect the clinic’s advanced laboratory protocols, personalized treatment plans, and experienced reproductive endocrinology team.
What fertility treatments and services does Olive Fertility Centre offer? expand_more

The clinic also offers egg freezing, donor egg programs, donor sperm, gestational carrier (surrogacy) services, and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT‑A, PGT‑M/SR). Specialized programs support 2SLGBTQIA+ families, single parents by choice, and shared‑IVF arrangements for female‑only couples. Yes, Olive Fertility Centre provides a full donor egg program in collaboration with reputable egg banks such as Donor Egg Bank USA, Pacific Northwest Fertility, and Asian Egg Bank. Patients can select frozen donor eggs from an online database, with each donor undergoing extensive medical, genetic, and psychological screening. The clinic coordinates fertilization either on‑site or at the donor’s clinic, and all embryo transfers occur at Olive. Success rates with frozen donor eggs are comparable to fresh cycles, with a live‑birth rate of approximately 50% per embryo transfer, and many patients benefit from multiple transfers using a single donor egg “lot.”
What is the maximum age for IVF treatment at Olive Fertility Centre? expand_more
Olive Fertility Centre sets the upper age limit for publicly funded IVF cycles at 41 years old at the time of the embryo transfer application. Patients must be enrolled in the Medical Services Plan (MSP) and meet income and medical eligibility criteria. While the funded program caps at age 41, the clinic may consider unfunded IVF or other assisted reproduction options for patients older than this threshold on a case‑by‑case basis, taking into account individual health, ovarian reserve, and overall prognosis.
