With support, my husband and I were able to fulfill our long-awaited desire to have children. Our sunshine is now 5 months old. It was a long road with many and painful setbacks. Our experience today at your center was extremely disappointing. My wife and I visited the center for the third time and although we hoped that our experience would improve, we were surprised by the poor treatment of a doctor who started shouting at us for no apparent reason, which caused us a lot of psychological distress.

It’s unfortunate that we see a new doctor at every visit, which has only led to more confusion and stress. However, our visit today was the worst as the doctor treated us in an unprofessional and rude manner. I didn’t even want to know her name because the psychological trauma she inflicted on us doesn’t diminish.

The secretary was kind and understanding, but it’s not in her power. The worst thing was that the doctor asked us to leave the center, saying: “If you don’t like it, go somewhere else”, without considering our feelings or mental state.

We drove two hours to reach the center and I had to stop three times on the way back because I emotionally collapsed from the disappointing experience.

Honestly I can’t even give the center one star because of this poor and unprofessional treatment. I hope that this complaint is taken seriously in order to improve the service and treatment of patients

Final update: In 2024 we had another daughter from an embryo frozen in the first ICSI in 2021. Our wonderful record: 2 ICSI, 2 children (and I was 39 on both ICSI). Thanks!

We have been receiving treatment here for a few months and previously went to another clinic. The previous clinic was also good, but I personally feel a little more comfortable in the Zech Clinic. The assistants and doctors have all been very friendly so far. If necessary, you will receive answers to specific questions. Sometimes you have to wait a while for a call back or a response at all, but the answer is then appropriately well-founded. I also spoke to a biologist on the phone and he was very friendly and competent. So far I am not pregnant or have had an early abortion from an attempt. The results on the intermediate steps (number of follicles, maturation, number of blastocysts) were better in one attempt here than in three attempts at another clinic. There is no guarantee of success here either, but I am personally convinced by the path taken. And no: I’m not employed there, not related, not related by marriage – just happy!

Update: The first ICSI in Bregenz led to an early abortion via cryo experiment, the second ICSI in Bregenz was successful for us and we now have a daughter!

I would like to make an official complaint about my experience at your center. This was my third visit and at each visit I was seen by a different doctor, which caused me considerable stress and uncertainty about the course of treatment. Each time I had a different doctor, which reduces my confidence in the treatment.

However, what happened on my last visit was completely unacceptable. The doctor who treated me was extremely rude and treated me like I was a criminal and not a patient who needed help. Your behavior was completely unprofessional and put a lot of psychological strain on me. I did not expect to be treated this way by a specialist, especially on such a sensitive subject as artificial insemination.

I would also like to emphasize that the receptionists were very friendly and respectful and even apologized on her behalf, but unfortunately the doctor’s behavior is not her responsibility. It was very disappointing to be treated like this after the receptionists made such a good impression.

I feel that I have not been treated adequately and this experience has greatly affected my trust in your center. I do not believe I deserve this type of treatment and I cannot continue my treatment in such an environment.

I ask you to take this complaint seriously and to improve medical care and continuity of doctors.

Very bad experience – Unprofessional and disrespectful behavior

Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have visited this center, but every time we have the same problem: constantly changing medical staff, and a new doctor is responsible for each visit. But this time it was the worst experience due to the unprofessional and inhumane behavior of a particular doctor.

We suffered from the rude, impatient and incompetent treatment of this doctor. When I wanted to ask questions about my condition, I only got the answer: “I don’t have time”! When my husband politely asked her if there was a problem between us, she reacted with childish gestures full of anger and then boldly told us: “That’s just the way it is, if you don’t like it, go somewhere else”!

Is this the way to deal with patients who are mentally and physically stressed and hope for hope here? Are we in a “market” instead of a medical center that should provide support and care?

This experience has taken a toll on us emotionally and I cannot recommend this center to anyone looking for respectful and humane treatment. I don’t even give this center one star and call on the management to take action against this unethical doctor so that this doesn’t happen to other patients.

We felt we were in good hands during the consultation. It was very informative, insightful and immediately gave us the confidence that we were in good hands here. The team provided us with excellent support not only medically but also emotionally.

We are overjoyed that it worked for us on the first try. We thank the team and also God. Our daughter is almost 9 months old.

There are no clear instructions generally. Instead, there is just a video showing how to give yourself an intramuscular injection, even though this could be dangerous. It is assumed that every patient has specialist knowledge.

After the KiWuKl in Germany never answered the phone and the emails remained unanswered, we decided on Bregenz and felt we were in great hands there. Very friendly, informative and honest (e.g. that we can have some examinations carried out by our doctor because it is significantly cheaper.) Emails were always answered promptly and called directly if there was anything important. After several alternative treatment options, we decided to do ICSI. Thanks to the recommendation to have a laparoscopy before ICSI, endometriosis was diagnosed and the lesions were removed. And then it worked straight away. I know that this is not pointed out in many other KiWuKl, for whatever reason. I am definitely very grateful to the team because without Bregenz I would probably never have had a laparoscopy and perhaps I would never have become pregnant. In addition, there was always a pleasant atmosphere there, which really calmed me down on this emotional topic.

You will be paying a 50% premium if you are from Switzerland (not compared to KK prices in Austria, but compared to selbstzahler!) They have a special contract for people from Switzerland, they made a couple of errors in it so you can see they ‘adjusted’ the prices. Additionally, the prices for hormones are just ridiculous, I’m paying a fraction of that price in Zürich! The doctor accidentally told me the price in euros and then was trying to play dumb. Of course we decided not to use this clinic since we were obviously looked at as a money making machine, not patients! If you are still interested in this scamy place, make sure to ask for a contract in Euros and make sure that they know that discriminatory pricing is illegal in EU! I think they are trying to do this under excuse that you are paying extra for the currency exchange service, so ask for the contract in euros!

Today we had a very informative initial consultation with a friendly and competent doctor. We felt like we were in good hands and advised right from the start. All questions were answered and we were able to make the decision to receive treatment at this clinic with a good feeling. We personally cannot understand the negative reviews here. Don’t let yourself be unsettled and it’s best to form your own opinion. We look forward to cooperation”!
