What to watch out for at Nashville Fertility Center?

  • warning Age‑Related Egg Policy Transparency

Patients over age 43 encounter undisclosed restrictions on using their own eggs, leading to unexpected recommendations for donor eggs and additional fees. Clear pre‑consultation communication could prevent surprise costs.

  • warning Insurance and Lab Billing Issues

The external Ovation lab is not in‑network for many insurers, requiring large out‑of‑pocket payments and complex reimbursement paperwork. Miscommunication about gap forms and coding has resulted in unreimbursed expenses for some patients.

  • warning Front Desk and Billing Service Gaps

Several patients describe rude, unresponsive front‑office staff, delayed return of calls, and inconsistent billing practices. These interactions can create frustration and hinder timely access to care.

  • warning Medication Ordering Errors

Instances of missed or incorrect medication orders have been reported, causing treatment delays and additional stress during sensitive cycles.

  • warning Limited Support for Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

A subset of patients feel that Dr. Weitzman and the clinic did not explore alternative strategies for recurrent miscarriage, leaving them without a clear path forward.

Highly recommend Dr. Weitzman at NFC for laparoscopic myomectomy. Minimal pain and no complications. Excellent communication and follow-up care.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Weitzman and his surgical skills. He performed a laparoscopic myomectomy to remove multiple large and small fibroids off of my uterus and took great care to preserve my uterus so I can hopefully bear a child. I had very minimal pain and no complications. I felt supported every step of the way with him explaining everything in great detail and answers all of my questions. He personally called me to check in after surgery. I am very blessed to have him as a doctor and would recommend him and NFC to everyone!

Disappointed with Nashville Fertility due to strict age policy prohibiting the use of own eggs over 43. Unethical nonrefundable fee charged for services not provided. A 6-hour wasted trip and emotional distress caused.

So we had come to Nashville Fertility for help this year And I was so excited to be able to move forward with the next steps after our struggles with fertility. Me and my husband were So Disappointed with this place. First of all, for anyone of the age of 43 or over do not expect to be able to Use your own eggs. They have a policy against using anyone’s over the age of 43 that wants to try to use their own eggs. ((Oh and also don’t be over the IBM threshold of 38 either)) Or they will not help you either even if the clock is ticking on your egg quality. This will save you Roughly $500 dollars and wasted travel costs. As kind suggestion they need to Make their consultants tell you that they do not help you if your over 43 and want to use your own eggs. You can Forget them helping you unless you want to pay an extra 10k to 15k for Donor eggs. Then they will be ok with your age from 43 to 47. Most woman do not want donor eggs straight away without even trying her Own. But that’s $500 extra in their pockets taking advantage of desperate older couple’s looking for help only to be told no and still have to pay that nonrefundable fee which is unethical. A simple over the phone conversation about their age policy and weight limit would have saved the doctor time and us $500 and a 6 hour wasted trip for Nothing. Find a better fertility center with better ethics. I hope this review helps other couples that are older and prevents another woman's tears at the end of the day.
