My Holistic Fertility

After two failed IVF cycles we knew we wanted to feel more prepared both physically and mentally before moving forward again. My husband had previously met Heather at a networking event and kept hold of her details and reaching out to her turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. From the very first contact through to our face to face sessions there was a real sense of positivity and a calm reassuring aura. We immediately felt at ease and confident that we were in the right hands. Heather guided us through the Conceive Programme with regular check ins and ongoing encouragement and unwavering support. She shared so many practical and insightful tips that were things we had not done in our previous cycles and were simple to incorporate into our daily lives. It was empowering to feel that even the smallest changes were genuinely making a difference to our bodies. The mindfulness sessions were also incredibly beneficial for both of us helping us feel more grounded supported and emotionally prepared for the journey ahead. We truly cannot thank Heather enough for her patience kindness and dedication throughout the programme. When we reached out to Heather, we were both in our mid - late thirties and ever mindful of our fertility health. We weren’t sure if we wanted to have children, but felt the panic of the biological clock and wanted to ensure that we were in the best place we could be health wise to support us on whatever journey we chose. I already had a good understanding of my cycle, something I had been closely monitoring and documenting for over a year, but felt that something wasn’t quite right as I’d noticed some inconsistencies. Heather understood our concerns and tentatively guided us with diet choices providing us with an easy to understand action plan. Her suggestions were easy to implement. Heather interpreted blood test results and various other tests and advised us what vitamins were necessary to support our journey and ensure that we were both in optimum health for conception. We both needed to take steps to enhance our reproductive health and so Heather recommended specific vitamins from specific companies; her advice always felt well researched and very clear. We soon decided that we did want to try and conceive. Heather continued to guide us through this, monitoring my monthly cycle charts and checking in with words of support. It was so reassuring to be able to speak to someone with such an in-depth understanding of fertility and conception. It was such a wobbly time finding out each month that we hadn’t been fortunate enough to conceive and each month being thrown back into a complicated head space of do we don’t we continue, we were so grateful to have Heathers support - her understanding of what we were experiencing so superior to any support that we received at our GP surgery. This support continued when we found out that I was pregnant. Heather continued to advise us on how to maintain a healthy pregnancy and was available to answer any questions that came up, her vast knowledge due to her range of qualifications as a midwife, reflexologist and nutritionist - and of course being a mother herself all contributed to us feeling held and strong throughout my pregnancy. We have no doubt that all of this shared knowledge contributed to me experiencing a beautiful and empowered home birth without any intervention. We are so grateful for so many things, don’t hesitate in seeking support from Heather, she is a person of extraordinary and comprehensive knowledge and a sound source of support for your fertility journey.
