Wonderful people and amazing doctors, Dr Crosby and Dr Martyn are absolutely fantastic people. Highly recommended
I have nothing but positive things to say about Merrion Fertility Clinic and would recommend them to any friends looking for fertility advice.
All members of staff that we met on our journey were extremely helpful and we found Dr Bauman practical and honest.
We were very lucky to be successful conceiving after one round of IUI and nurse Helen who carried out the procedure could not have been nicer. We will be welcoming a baby in November and are very thankful to all in MFC.
With the help of this wonderful hospital and with the help of God, my dream of becoming a mother after 10 years of torment has come true, we have a wonderful 3 and a half year old boy, I am happy that I met this hospital and the special people who are part of this hospital, now with God’s help I want to do IVF again for my second child. I recommend Merrion Fertility Clinic to everyone. Thanks very much
I arrived at the clinic after experiencing a terrible time at a different fertility clinic. From the moment we entered the building we knew it was different. The friendly security man gave us directions, Debbie at the reception desk put us at ease straight away. The nurses and doctors, especially the nurses, I have never met such a dedicated group of people. I feel supported and heard and never underestimate how important that is during your fertility journey. I can honestly say that I know everyone is doing their best for us and we are in the right place.
AVOID.. I have read the previous reviews and definitely myself and my husband have had similar experiences. We went through 4 rounds of ICSI with the Merrion without success. Given 3 different doctors, never met the same nurse twice in the last year. They have a high turn over of staff. Like someone else said, you are not allowed question their methods even though it’s your money and your emrbyos. I asked them about this “non profit” after spending on 4 rounds myself, they didn’t want to discuss it. Got 2 transfers a year, which is a ridiculous time to wait as a couple are getting older. They basically throw you out the door after you’ve had your transfer. Our main take away was what the clinic did to us mentally for nearly 3 years. We went to Gennet in Prague, got pregnant within 6 weeks of my consultation on our first round, but the care and kindness we experienced over there was unmatched. Even though Ive had a healthy pregnancy now nearly 7 months, the trauma of what the Merrion put is through which came to light during my pregnancy was truly horrendous. They wanted us to pay through the roof for more testing, only when I got a second opinion was I told, it made no sense to do these tests, nothing will be gained from it. When researched no doctor we met was there very long. We became increasingly worried when we met who was looking after our embryos. Neither of us have luckily ever dealt with mental health issues until dealing with the Merrion, they put stuff in our heads that throughout the pregnancy we weren’t able to shake, the maternity hospital eventually ended up recommending concilling throughout the pregnancy. I cannot stress enough the reasons why anyone reading this should run a mile from this clinic.
I would highly recommend the Merrion Fertility Clinic after all our experience. The professional work and the best care of your needs I’ve ever felt. Everyone is very understandable and always find the way to give you the best treatment and care. Even when things weren’t successful I’ve always felt support and lots of hope and positiveness, that gave me energy to move on step by step to achieve your dream!!!
