I wanted to make an appointment for an ultrasound of the pelvic organs on the 3rd day of menstruation, since I am starting an IVF protocol with the doctor, this is not the first time, and I needed to do an ultrasound exactly in the first days of menstruation to see what the situation is with the follicles, and whether it is possible to start stimulation of the ovaries. m.ts) It so happened that these days fell on the weekend, my doctor is not working, he is actually in another city. Therefore, I had to look for a place to do an ultrasound on Saturday, a day off. At the reception, they said that transvaginal ultrasound is not performed during menstruation!!!
To say that I am shocked is an understatement!! I explained that I need it precisely during menstruation, because I am going to the IVF protocol! In response, I heard the same thing that we do not conduct ultrasound during critical days, only after the end!

I have a question for you, how do you conduct IVF protocols and how do you monitor whether everything is going well without doing an ultrasound during periods??

Is it possible your staff is far from it and could clarify before convincing me that no one does ultrasounds during menstruation?

It turns out that they do it in the state reproductive center, but you can’t do it for crazy money… I’m very disappointed…
