I had a positive outcome at KiWu but due to mistrust and lack of evidence-based approach, I wouldn't recommend it. I had to push for answers and fix the root causes myself.

I had a positive outcome through this clinic, but I would not recommend it unless you have a very good OBGYN and know how to advocate for yourself. I lost four embryos because the doctors recommended transferring two at a time, even though they knew I had a fibroid in the cavity and a blocked fallopian tube—likely the cause of the pelvic fluid they dismissed as “normal.” When I first came to KiWu after two cycles abroad, Dr. Steck said we didn’t need a scan before stimulation because the doctors from my previous clinic (whom he referred to as his “colleagues”) wouldn’t have done a transfer if there were any issues. During the lining scan, he measured something in the uterus but brushed it off as nothing. After that failed cycle, an MRI showed a fibroid in my uterine cavity. I pushed for surgery to remove adhesions and confirm the fibroid findings. The Mainz University surgeon claimed there were no fibroids but said one tube was blocked. Back at KiWu, Dr. Molitor seemed unsure whether to proceed and asked what the surgeon suggested. She said a blocked tube wouldn’t affect implantation unless it leaked fluid, and that there was none. Right before transfer, they found free fluid but blamed the medication and went ahead anyway. The transfer failed. They later suggested an endometrial biopsy, performed by Dr. Emig, but the lab couldn’t test for endometriosis because the sample was sent incorrectly. The clinic misrepresented the lab’s letter, telling me to take probiotics instead of addressing the mistake. Before my last embryo transfer, I went to a London specialist who found hydrosalpinx in both tubes and removed them, along with the cavity fibroid that KiWu had ignored. After surgery, Dr. Molitor was again unsure about when to start the next cycle, asking me what my surgeon advised. During the next treatment, my lining was thin and uneven (6 mm on one side, 4 mm on the other), but they still told me to trigger. On transfer day, Dr. Steck claimed my lining was 8 mm, though I didn’t believe him. That shows the level of trust I had left. At this point, I truly believe these doctors are tossing a coin; there is no evidence-based approach guiding treatment at this clinic. If I achieved pregnancy through this clinic, it wasn’t because of what they did. It was because I did the research, pushed for answers, and fixed the root causes myself. I’m writing this review now because even if it doesn’t stick, I want to make sure I never go back to KiWu again.

The reviewer had negative experiences at the clinic due to chaotic conditions, glaring errors, and overpriced services. Ms. Swayze, the staff, tried hard but this was not enough. Unfortunately, the review also mentions unecessary charges for stored sperm.

Unfortunately, I have to share the negative experiences. Ms. Swayze is an empathetic woman and tried hard. However, the sometimes chaotic conditions caused by absolute assembly-line work lead to glaring errors. Advertising that she supports single mothers, but demanding proof of mandatory consultations with lawyers and declarations of non-compliance, which aren't even required by law, is completely contrary to openness. Of course, a special lawyer is assigned for the consultations, who simply says, "Then it just won't work this cycle." The stress certainly didn't have a positive effect. But the most disturbing thing was an invoice for stored sperm. Unfortunately, I had used up all my sperm in vain. Of course, they canceled the invoice, but why did they think there was still sperm in my name?

Long waiting times, untrained staff, and poor treatment outcome. The staff, led by Dr. Shtek Urody, failed to provide a satisfactory IVF experience, especially for older patients.

I didn't like it. Because you have to wait a long time at the door, they don't have a test, they don't know how to take blood, and if you're already 40 years old, they give up and say that nothing will work. The staff is nothing. I don't recommend them, I tried them twice and I regret going to them, especially to Dr. Shtek Urody.

A patient experienced poor communication and treatment at the clinic on July 7, 2025. They were treated rudely by the staff. This resulted in additional emotional distress.

At my appointment on July 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at your fertility clinic in Mainz, I was treated very rudely by the staff. In a situation that was already emotionally stressful for me, I would have appreciated a respectful and empathetic approach. Instead, I felt neither taken seriously nor treated with the necessary sensitivity. This experience was very disappointing and caused me additional emotional distress.
