Jeanne E. O’Brien, M.D.

Never have I met a doctor so kind, personable, compassionate and competent as Dr. Jeanne O’Brien. She has been my provider for about 3 years now and she continues to be a shining star with regards to my care. Members of her staff have said that she is one of the best and boast that she is very intelligent. I have certainly borne witness to this in the way that she explained my treatment plan and the rationale behind it. I appreciate her honesty, her gentle approach, her practical optimism when you lose hope, her determination to do the best she can to help you reach your goals. She is passionate about her work, and it shows. She is simply a wonderful human being. I appreciate all her efforts thus far, and I feel blessed to have her as my doctor. My previous nurse, Jessica B. and my current nurse, Rachel S. also rock and my financial counselor, Sandra G. is also awesome!! I can't thank them enough!

The best ,most positive doctor ever! She knows what she is doing and very direct about outcomes. Just as happy for your success as you are ! I would reccomend her a 1 million times!!!!!!!

I strongly recommend Dr. Jeanne O'Brien as your fertility doctor. She is a very good listener and very nice. She is professional and knowledgeable. She brought me two successful pregnancies just through one egg retrieval. I am very thankful for all her effort to help me to become a Mom. I still remember in my first consultation, she was super patient to listen to my story, and review my previous exam results. She spent plenty of time discussing the potential reasons and solutions. She explained many concepts we didn't know in an easy way. She compared the pros and cons between different treatments. All of these happened 7 years ago. Believe it or not, I still can remember the details. After that I was treated under her close monitor. She always personally reviewed every one of my exam/test results. Actually in many fertility centers different monitor doctors may review your results and provide the doctor's order, which may make the patient a little worried. But Dr. O'Brien always rechecks everything. This made me feel that she was always with me. She also provided me with a lot of valuable advice. What she cares about is what you need, but not how much money the center will earn. Although I am super cautious about a lot of things, she never recommended the test which was not necessary. She used her knowledge to convince me. And she was right. She has the top skills in operations. I really trust her that I'd rather wait weeks to fit in her schedule, and let her do the transfer for me. I am so lucky that I met her at the beginning of my fertility journey. Here I also want to thank her team. Dr. O'Brien has a very strong team. All team members are kind and full of patience. Although sometimes I was super worried, and my questions became a little annoying, they always responded to me in a nice way which can make me calm down. Now it is the time for me to pay back. But there is really not a lot I can do. The only thing is to give them the highest stars based on my 7 years experience and introduce them to more patients who need help. I hope more families can bring back their babies with the help of Dr. O'Brien and her team. I hope Dr. O'Brien and her team members are more and more achievable each year. --NZ

Dr. O’Brien and Nurse J. Buggs are an amazing team at SGF-Rockville. Dr. O’Brien is highly knowledgeable about the IVF process and very thorough with her recommendations on your individualized IVF care. She is also very personable and I think she really cares about the well-being of her patients. My husband and I call her Mrs. (Dr.) Incredible from the Disney Pixar superhero movie, the Incredibles. She not only helped us conceive our first child via IVF but also worked with us to conceive a second child. I strongly recommend her and her team. Wishing Dr. O’Brien and her team continued success. She has gifted hands.

I met with Dr Obrien for the first time yesterday . It was a very pleasant experience from beginning to end and her staff was very nice and helpful to me and my wife. I know I made the right choice by choosing this practice and this doctor. The doctor is very knowledgeable and informative answering all my questions before I could even ask them. It just goes to show how much experience she has and how much she cares for patients and walking them through the treatment process. You won’t be disappointed !
