Mil gracias a Rebeca Jiménez y Estíbaliz Quevedo. Me han hecho sentir cómoda y como en casa desde el día 1. Entré en Septiembre con un miedo terrible y aún sin crear falsas expectativas, desde ese momento pensé que, gracias a ellas, sería posible. Y así ha sido. Siempre con optimismo, alegría en cada consulta, muchísimo tacto y atentas a todo. Son MUY buenas en lo que hacen y eso hace que sea fácil confiar en ellas y dejarte llevar. Siempre estaré muy agradecida. Todo el personal de recepción ha sido increíble también desde el primer día.
Todas siempre atentas a cualquier duda y respondían enseguida. Las auxiliares que hacían las extracciones también. Ni una sola pega a IVI Alicante y los recomendaría una y otra vez. Muchas gracias!!!!

Nos hemos sentido totalmente clientes, no hemos sentido acompañamiento por parte de los médicos, ni han sabido explicarnos bien las cosas en cada consulta, preguntar algo era tonteria porque te trataban como tal. La comunicacion, solo a traves de aplicación si no tenias consulta y ni siquiera contestaba el médico, lo hacian por él. Ha sido una sensación de que solo querían que gastasemos y que diéramos poco follón. En la tercera beta negativa cambiamos de clínica a IBernabeu y no podemos estar más contentas con ese cambio, ni siquiera una llamada del director que en ese momento era nuestro doctor para preguntarnos la razón de nuestra marcha cuando transportamos los embriones, después de todo lo que habiamos vivido, eso ya nos confirmó que solo eramos un número y ya no les interesabamos.
Hoy en la nueva clínica podemos hablar con nuestra doctora, nos explica las cosas paso a paso, nos da tranquilidad y empatía, y lo más importante ya tuvimos embarazo.
Además Ivi mucho más caro económicamente hablando.

El médico que nos atendió fue Héctor Izquierdo, siempre correcto y amable en el trato. Comenzamos con distintas pruebas diagnósticas y, durante una revisión ginecológica realizada por mi médico de cabecera fuera de IVI, se me detectó un hidrosálpinx avanzado.
Tras consultar con familiares médicos (mi hermana y mi tío, ambos profesionales sanitarios), se me advirtió claramente de que no era recomendable realizar una fecundación in vitro con un hidrosálpinx activo, ya que el líquido puede resultar tóxico y afectar directamente a la implantación embrionaria.
Informamos de inmediato al doctor Héctor Izquierdo sobre este hallazgo. Su respuesta fue insistir en que continuáramos con la FIV, asegurando en todo momento que el hidrosálpinx no afectaba en absoluto al resultado del tratamiento. Confiamos en su criterio como especialista y seguimos adelante.
El resultado del proceso fue la obtención de cuatro embriones, de los cuales solo dos eran viables (uno tipo B y uno tipo C). Finalmente, se nos indicó que el único embrión “bueno” era el tipo C, transmitiéndonos grandes expectativas de éxito. Para la clínica eran 10.000 €, pero para nosotros era nuestro futuro hijo.
El resultado fue un beta negativo. El doctor me llamó personalmente para comunicarlo y mostrar su pesar. En la consulta posterior para analizar lo ocurrido, se nos volvió a proponer un nuevo ciclo de FIV, nuevamente con un coste aproximado de 10.000 €, reiterando otra vez que el hidrosálpinx no tenía relación alguna con el fallo de implantación.
Decidí entonces solicitar una segunda opinión médica fuera de IVI. En la primera ecografía realizada, se confirmó de nuevo la presencia del hidrosálpinx, y el especialista se mostró sorprendido de que se hubiera llevado a cabo una FIV en esas condiciones, cuestionando abiertamente dicha decisión médica.
Las consecuencias de esta experiencia no han sido solo económicas, sino profundamente emocionales: meses de ansiedad, depresión, estrés, dolor físico y psicológico. Un proceso que debería estar acompañado de máxima prudencia médica y sensibilidad humana terminó dejándome rota emocionalmente.
Comparto mi experiencia para que otras mujeres puedan tomar decisiones informadas. En tratamientos de reproducción asistida no solo está en juego el dinero, sino la salud, la estabilidad emocional y la ilusión de formar una familia. En mi caso, siento que esa responsabilidad no fue tratada con la seriedad que merecía.
