I can not express enough how thankful I am for everything this clinic has done. Pregnancy through IVF isn't quick or simple, but the amount of planning, time, organization, and care that this center showed me made every moment more special. I can't state just how many questions, emails, and phone calls I sent their way, but every time it was answered promptly, in full, and with assurance that they wanted me as comfortable as possible. A special thank you to Dr. Shamma as well, along with all of the countless nurses, technicians, desk clerks, and students I got to meet that made each experience as confortable as possible (Ashley, Olivia, and Peyton to name a few). I've entered my third month of pregnancy and none of this would be possible without their hard work and support. Thank you for all you do and for making my dreams of motherhood a reality!

My wife and I are both pharmacists and we appreciated Dr. Shamma's expert and heartfelt care. You can tell Dr. Shamma is passionate about his work and his dedication is beyond measure, in our opinion. The office staff is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We had to call the after-hours number once and received a callback in a timely manner, they also followed up with us the next day. We will be back soon.

Dr. Shamma and his staff made trying to get pregnant a smoother process compared to my normal OB. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and is just as hopeful as the hopefully parents to be. Peyton is an amazing case nurse and always answers any questions promptly and without making me feel like I’m bothering her. I would recommend everyone with infertility issues to see Dr. Shamma and his staff.

IVF Ohio Fertility Centers, Sylvania, Ohio - FAQ

smart_toy AI-generated based on information from the clinic's website

What is the maximum age for IVF treatment at IVF Michigan & Ohio Fertility Centers? expand_more
IVF Michigan & Ohio Fertility Centers does not enforce a strict age cut‑off for IVF, recognizing that individual ovarian reserve varies. Women are evaluated with hormone testing, such as AMH levels, to determine remaining egg quantity and quality. While many patients over age 40 achieve better outcomes using donor eggs, the clinic will consider IVF with a patient’s own eggs if sufficient ovarian reserve is demonstrated. This flexible policy allows older patients to pursue treatment based on their specific reproductive potential rather than an arbitrary age limit, and the clinic provides counseling on success probabilities and alternative options like egg donation when appropriate.
