Everyone is great at IRH except Dr Robertshaw. She shared information and pictures (of my uterus) with my husband while I was still unconscious from surgery. I had explicitly said on the consent form that no information could be shared with anyone, including my husband (I wanted to know things about my body before he did). She ignored that and then blamed it on the fact that she does not look at the back of the chart where consent forms are. I could list many other issues but that was one of the worst I had with Robertshaw.

Would not recommend this place! My experience with Dr Robertshaw was not very pleasant. She would not listen to what I asked for in my treatment and every time I met with her I could tell she hadn't read or looked through my chart from my previous cycle different doctor. I had a plan for MONTHS to transfer my only 2 embryos and a few days before the FET, she called me without a scheduled appointment to tell me why she couldn't allow me to transfer two. It was very discouraging knowing my history. I do not feel she actually listened or cared. It seemed to be all about the money! I wish I would have left this clinic after my consultation with her when I had a uneasy feeling.

I’m sharing this so other patients are aware of what to watch for. I had my initial appointment on December 26, where I completed labs and an ultrasound and spent significant time with the physician discussing a clear treatment plan: Provera to induce a withdrawal bleed followed by letrozole 7.5 mg with monitoring and an hCG trigger (timed intercourse, not IUI). This plan was also confirmed in follow-up messages from clinic staff. I followed instructions exactly and started Provera. When I called on cycle day 1–2 as instructed, I was told there was a “new policy” (effective January 1) requiring new patients to wait a full cycle before treatment — something that was never discussed at my appointment, despite the plan already being initiated. What was most distressing was the inconsistent communication. Different staff members gave conflicting explanations (policy vs. diagnostic testing vs. “doctor’s order”), and at one point I was told treatment would proceed, only to be told again that it would not. Even the medication that was eventually sent was incorrectly dosed and did not match the physician’s documented plan. Fertility treatment is extremely time-sensitive and emotionally taxing. The lack of internal coordination, retroactive policy enforcement, and contradictory information caused significant distress during what should have been a straightforward cycle. The physician interaction itself was positive, but the administrative and communication issues were significant enough that I would encourage patients to never go here. If you do I would ask very clear questions, get everything in writing, and double-check prescriptions carefully.

I would avoid at all cost, if you have some extra money to blow away you could go there, it’s more about how much money they’re going to put in their pocket than anything else, they don’t care about you or what you’re going through, if you just call to ask a question they’re going to tell you we are going to schedule an appointment for you the next month or so. Wasted lots of money and lots of time and more than 3 attempts. Avoid
