My experience at Grace Fertility was very positive, particularly with the nursing staff but also with Dr. Cheung. I would recommend them. Their costs were lower than other clinics and they never pushed or even recommended add-on treatments which the other clinics often do (as these treatments are not proven to increase success rates by any significant amount). I recommend Grace.

I had an amazing experience at this fertility clinic. Dr. Akbar was incredible — patient, knowledgeable, and always made me feel supported. And a huge shout-out to Nurse Chiara and the entire nursing team. They were the absolute best: kind, compassionate, and always there to reassure me through every step. I’m so grateful for their care and would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Surrogate had a negative experience at Grace. The nursing staff was unfriendly and unresponsive. The intake team was initially very positive.

I was a surrogate and did embryo transfer at Grace. At first they were amazing, I think that's due to the intake team. The nursing staff, not so nice. The way they handled things wasn't so nice.. They didn't listen to me through the process …

Patient had mixed experience with Dr. Cheung, who was gentle and honest, but was devastated by a nurse's inappropriate and public suggestion of egg freezing after receiving bad news about their fertility

I'm torn on my rating for this clinic. The doctor was great, but a nurse there held a highly inappropriate and somewhat devastating medical conversation with me in the waiting room with several other patients watching and listening. I'll break the details down into good and bad: GOOD: Dr Cheung was very gentle but honest about my low chances of conceiving. He was frank but not unkind. He offered several alternatives and was clear about their odds of success, so I could make an informed decision. At no point did I feel like he was trying to make a cash grab by giving me false hope. He was also the only doctor (out of multiple GPs and another endocrinologist) to properly diagnose my symptoms as early menopause. After 6 years of being told my brain fog, memory issues, night sweats, hair loss, irregular periods, and mood swings were "stress", I'm incredibly grateful to him for recognizing that it is not in fact impossible for women to start menopause in their 30's. I may never conceive a biological child, but at least I'm now getting adequate medical care for my condition. BAD: After Dr Cheung gave me the bad news, I sat in the waiting room for a few minutes to gather my thoughts. While sitting there, one of the nurses approached me holding several pamphlets and said "I'd like to get you started with the information for egg freezing. If I prep you now, as soon as Dr Cheung gives the go-ahead we can get started." I was still reeling from the fact that I'd just been told my window for conceiving was shifted about 10-15 years back from the average, egg freezing would basically be pointless, and that I would highly likely never conceive a biological child. So I was not in the headspace to find a way to tell this nurse what she was suggesting was not appropriate while maintaining my confidentiality. Instead, the whole waiting room got to hear my tearful relaying of the intimate and devastating medical news I'd just received. Nurses should not be approaching people publicly in the waiting room about this sort of thing. They should have a separate consultation room. And they should not be approaching patients about starting egg freezing, IVF, or any other type of procedure AT ALL until they know it's medically recommended for the patient. Being brightly and cheerily offered the start on a process I was just told was extremely unlikely to ever work was just twisting the knife I'd already been stabbed with. Publicly. It was awful.
