The most human clinic ever… truly, don’t look anywhere else.

I was followed by Dr. Buzaglo, and she does this work with her whole heart. She is passionate, deeply empathetic, and incredibly dedicated. From every phone call to every appointment, I felt cared for — not like a number, but like family.

What sets this clinic apart is how closely they work as a team. They tailor every protocol to your specific needs and how your body responds to medication. They constantly adjust and optimize to ensure the best possible outcome. You feel that nothing is generic — everything is personalized.

My first egg retrieval was at a different clinic, where I unfortunately ended up hospitalized with moderate OHSS. When I came to Fertilys, they took that history very seriously. My retrieval with them went incredibly smoothly and resulted in five healthy embryos. The difference in care, attention, and expertise was undeniable.

Her nurse, Daphne, always made it a point to see me whenever she knew I was at the clinic. That level of compassion is rare. You can tell when people genuinely love what they do — and this entire team does.

Infertility is the hardest journey we have ever faced. Being supported by such a caring and attentive team made an overwhelming process feel manageable.

After our retrieval, we unexpectedly conceived naturally. I remember telling Dr. Buzaglo that as ecstatic as I am about this pregnancy, it feels bittersweet to be “graduating” from the clinic… and that says everything about how special they are.

Forever grateful.

Au montant que nous avons déboursé, c'est tres deplorable de nous facturer un montant de renouvellement que nous n'avions jamais autorisé. Je ne recommande pas leur façon de faire.

Does Fertilys treat single women seeking fertility treatment? expand_more
Fertilys explicitly welcomes single women who wish to build a family. The clinic offers tailored fertility plans that include IVF with donor sperm, egg freezing, and comprehensive counseling. Dedicated psychological support is available to address the unique emotional aspects of solo parenthood, and the medical team works closely with each patient to design the most effective treatment pathway.
Does Fertilys offer egg donation for IVF treatment? expand_more
Yes, Fertilys provides egg donation as part of its IVF program. Patients can access frozen donor eggs from a certified egg bank that are shipped directly to the clinic, or they may choose a directed donation from a known donor under altruistic, non‑remunerated conditions as required by Canadian law. The clinic also collaborates with European centres for additional donor options. All donor eggs undergo rigorous screening, and the clinic reports comparable pregnancy rates to own‑egg cycles when donor eggs are used.
What IVF laboratory technology does Fertilys use? expand_more
Fertilys’ IVF laboratory is equipped with cutting‑edge technology to maximize embryo viability. The clinic uses a time‑lapse incubator that captures images every five minutes, allowing continuous monitoring of embryo development without disturbing culture conditions. Micro‑fluidic chambers are employed for sperm selection, reducing reactive oxygen species and DNA damage. DNA integrity is assessed through flow‑cytometry‑based fragmentation analysis, and embryos are vitrified using rapid‑freeze protocols that achieve ~90 % survival after thaw. All procedures adhere to ESHRE standards and the laboratory holds the Agrément Canada accreditation (2024‑2028).
What are the IVF success rates at Fertilys? expand_more
Fertilys reports live‑birth rates that compare favorably with natural fertility. For women under 35, the clinic’s data show a cumulative live‑birth probability of over 80 % after four complete IVF cycles, while women aged 35‑40 achieve roughly 60‑70 % after the same number of attempts. The first‑cycle live‑birth rates, based on University of Aberdeen statistics (1999‑2009, ~200,000 cycles), range from 44.5 % for 25‑year‑old couples to 19 % for 43‑year‑old couples. These outcomes reflect the clinic’s use of advanced laboratory protocols, such as time‑lapse embryo monitoring and personalized stimulation, which together enhance embryo quality and implantation success.
What is the history and background of Fertilys? expand_more
Fertilys was founded in 2013 in Laval, Québec, by Dr Pierre Miron and biologist Moncef Benkhalifa with the vision of creating a human‑scale, innovation‑driven fertility centre. Over more than a decade, the clinic has helped hundreds of couples achieve parenthood and has become a reference for assisted reproduction in the province. Fertilys earned the International Exceptional Patient Experience award at the Fertility Care Awards 2023 and holds the Agrément Canada accreditation for 2024‑2028, reflecting its commitment to high‑quality, safe patient care.
What fertility treatments and services does Fertilys offer? expand_more

The clinic also offers egg and sperm donation programs, pre‑implantation genetic testing (PGT‑A), immunomodulation of the endometrium for recurrent implantation failure, and prenatal screening between weeks 11‑14. Additional services include fertility preservation for both women (egg freezing, ovarian tissue cryopreservation) and men (sperm cryopreservation), psychological counseling, remote monitoring for patients living far from the clinic, and advanced laboratory technologies such as time‑lapse embryo culture.
