About FertilityCare Calgary

FertilityCare Calgary is a restorative fertility clinic located in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM) that combines the Creighton Model FertilityCare System with NaProTechnology to identify and treat the root causes of infertility, miscarriage, endometriosis, PCOS, pelvic pain, PMS and related reproductive health issues; the clinic offers comprehensive services including personalized fertility‑awareness charting, targeted hormone evaluation, natural and cooperative treatment plans, virtual appointments worldwide, and a clear comparison of RRM versus traditional IVF/IUI, highlighting its 60‑70% success rate for full‑term births (with 20‑40% achieving pregnancy through charting alone) versus the approximately 21% IVF success rate, all without age, AMH or male‑factor restrictions and with most medications covered by prescription drug plans; a multidisciplinary team led by certified practitioner Maria Porcellato, along with Caroline Campbell, Heather Patel, Brigitte Diemand, Liz Roth and other certified FertilityCare professionals, provides evidence‑based care, empathetic counseling, mental‑health support for postpartum depression and miscarriage, and affordable, non‑invasive treatment that restores natural hormone cycles, prevents preterm labor, and empowers women and couples to understand and manage their reproductive health with timely access, no referral or registration fees, and ongoing patient education and support throughout the journey.

Why choose FertilityCare Calgary?

  • check_circle Expert Medical Team

Dr. Maria Bizecki delivers thorough hormonal assessments, identifies hidden conditions, and designs individualized protocols that have resulted in multiple natural conceptions. Her deep knowledge and compassionate demeanor are repeatedly highlighted as central to patient confidence. The team’s ability to coordinate referrals and integrate specialist input further strengthens outcomes.

  • check_circle Detailed Cycle Charting

Lexi Burt offers precise Creighton charting instruction, helping patients detect subtle hormonal imbalances, insulin resistance, and subclinical hypothyroidism. This data‑driven approach enables early intervention and has been credited with uncovering issues missed by other providers. Patients report increased empowerment and clearer fertility timelines.

  • check_circle Holistic, Non‑IVF Focus

The clinic prioritizes natural methods, lifestyle adjustments, and the Creighton Model before recommending IVF, leading to successful pregnancies without invasive procedures. Nutritional counseling, stress management, and targeted supplements are integrated into each plan. Many families attribute their healthy births to this comprehensive, low‑intervention strategy.

  • check_circle Responsive Support

Staff respond quickly to emails and phone calls, providing prompt test orders, medication adjustments, and pregnancy monitoring. Continuous guidance throughout conception and gestation creates a sense of security for patients. The clinic’s follow‑up during early pregnancy is noted as especially reassuring.

What to watch out for at FertilityCare Calgary?

  • warning Inconsistent Communication

Several clients experience a decline in follow‑up after the first few months, describing delayed responses and feeling forgotten. This inconsistency can diminish confidence during critical treatment phases. Improved long‑term communication protocols are suggested.

  • warning High Program Costs

The mandatory cycle‑tracking software and quarterly payment structure are reported as expensive, especially when combined with supplement and medication expenses. Some patients feel the cost outweighs the perceived value of the service. Transparent pricing and optional alternatives could address these concerns.

  • warning Administrative Gaps

Instances of unclear referrals to external physicians and occasional confusion about program steps have been noted. Patients sometimes receive conflicting instructions regarding medication and testing timelines. Streamlining administrative processes would enhance the overall patient experience.

I was very hopeful in this program, but unfortunately after nearly a year I am very disappointed. :( Communication was great at first but slowly tapered off. I felt as though I was hassling everytime I asked a question. We spent thousands of dollars on this program but in the end I still had to go back to my family doctor to be referred to the physician. So it felt like a scam… thankfully the doctor I’m working with now is great!

Initially the program was helpful. I received immediate care and learned a lot about my issues and how to correct them. For the most part the program was successful. Three stars because at about a year of the program, communication started to decline and in the end, I was forgotten and never followed up with which was a disappointment. This review does not discredit Maria or the consultant as they are very knowledgeable and helpful in solving what I came here for. I believe the program is beneficial. It was just disappointing in the end because part of the reason of paying for the program was to experience a more personalized relationship with my providers but was proven to be just a number based on the lack of follow up on progress.

I’ve been working with Lexi at FertilityCare since March 2025, and I honestly wish I had found her and Maria years ago. After a truly disheartening experience with Regional Fertility Care, I was left feeling defeated and confused. But with Lexi, everything changed. She has been nothing but kind, gentle, and deeply knowledgeable. At nearly 40 and still hoping for my first child, I’ve finally started making real progress—especially in addressing my underlying hormone issues, which no one else seemed to prioritize. Lexi took the time to look deeper rather than push IVF as the first option. That alone gave me hope. To anyone struggling with fertility, please—start here. Go see Lexi and Maria before jumping into IVF. Get your hormones balanced, get real answers, and work with a team that genuinely cares about your overall health and well-being. I finally feel optimistic again, and that means everything!

I would like to express my gratitude to Maria for helping me find a root cause of my infertility. Now I have a beautiful daughter, which is 6 months old. Maria checked my hormones and found hormone imbalance and Endometriosis. She referred me to see Dr. Yeung in USA. After surgery, I got pregnant in first cycle. I will be forever grateful for Maria’s guidance.

Over the years, FertilityCare Calgary has expanded its educational outreach, offering free information sessions and developing a robust resource library for patients. What are the IVF success rates at FertilityCare Calgary? expand_more
FertilityCare Calgary reports that in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles have an approximate 21% success rate for babies that reach full term, reflecting the outcomes of artificial reproductive technology (ART) in the region. The clinic notes that IVF cycles typically cost between $20,000 and $23,000 per cycle and often require more than one attempt, with age and AMH level restrictions influencing eligibility. For intrauterine insemination (IUI), the success rate ranges from 5% to 15% per procedure, highlighting the lower pregnancy probability when underlying hormonal issues are present.
