FSAC has given me The most unprofessional and inhumane experience of my life This was my first surrogacy journey, Fertility & Surgical Associates of California surrogacy department turned what should have been a meaningful, carefully managed process into a nightmare filled with chaos, negligence, and emotional harm. 1. Zero communication with the surrogate. I was not allowed to have any direct contact with the surrogate until the day of delivery. No updates, no coordination, no relationship nothing. For a process involving a human life, this level of secrecy and detachment felt disturbing and irresponsible. 2. Treated my baby like an object, not a human being. I received a random message out of nowhere one day saying the baby had already been delivered and was told to "go pick up the baby" while I was out of the country. No preparation, no coordination, no humanity. Just a transactional notification, as if this were a package, not a newborn child. 3. Complete failure on legal coordination (POA & court order). They told me last minute to prepare a Power of Attorney which the hospital rightfully rejected. Multiple independent attorneys later confirmed that the POA should have been listed on the court order at the time it was issued. The agency didn't do this even i have told them long ago that i need the POA to pick up the baby for me which cause my baby to be stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks until the Child protective department get involved . Everyone including the attorney they referred me ghosted us when problem happened 4. Disappeared after taking payment. After the final installment was released, the agency went silent for nearly 10 days leading up to delivery. Messages ignored. Then suddenly "Oh, the baby is already here." 5. Even the hospital was shocked. When I finally spoke to the surrogate, the hospital staff were shocked that She arrived to deliver with no proper paperwork or instructions because no one from the agency prepared her. That alone should tell you how reckless this operation is. 6. My baby was held in the hospital for TWO WEEKS. Because of missing paperwork and the agency's gross failures, my newborn was stuck in the hospital for two full weeks. During this time, all I received were copy-paste, ChatGPT-style replies, with the agency repeatedly shifting blame to the attorney they referred to me and the attorney pushing responsibility straight back to us. It was nothing but endless finger-pointing and zero accountability. When real chaos happened they simply dumped the consequences back onto us as parents. 7. CPS had to get involved In the end, Child Protective Services had to step in just to get my baby discharged. Let that sink in. Not because of abuse. Not because of neglect by the parent. But because the professionals who were supposed to manage this process failed at every basic responsibility. Final warning: If you want your baby to be born smoothly, safely, and with dignity stay away from FSAC They do not care, respect life or protect intended parents, surrogates, or babies. The emotional damage has been unbearable. This entire ordeal has driven me to the edge. I have barely slept for almost two weeks, living in constant panic, fear, and stress all because of this agency's incompetence and indifference. What should have been a moment of joy became relentless anxiety, phone calls, legal chaos, and the terror of not knowing when or if my baby would finally be released. No one should ever go through this. No parent should be pushed into this level of emotional and psychological distress because "professionals" failed to do the most basic parts of their job. Because of what they put me and my child through, I will continue to share my experience openly and globally across platforms, communities, and countries, including international audiences. Intended parents around the world deserve to know the truth before trusting their lives, their money, and their children to people who treat this process with such carelessness. And I will make sure others are warned

I cant thank Dr Shamonki and his team enough. Im 40, have pcos and mild endometriosis and currently 17 weeks pregnant with my little girl. Their protocol is top notch. Great results with both egg retrievals and my first transfer was a success.

Had the unfortunate experience of going here and completing over six rounds of Clomid and IUI without success. There was no change in protocol or additional testing to help improve outcomes. Testing for endometriosis or autoimmune disorders was actively discouraged, with the doctor insisting it wouldn’t make any difference in outcomes. Surprise! After switching to another clinic, I discovered I did in fact have endometriosis — and have had success since making the switch and getting the appropriate treatment. I feel as though they were not invested in my success and did not seem bothered by the time and money I was wasting here.

Will update if things change but here is our experience do far having seen first Dr. Hubert and now currently working with Dr. Bayulos. We are finding it very difficult to get straight answers when or if your case becomes complicated or doesn't go as planned/expected. If your case ends in miscarriage you better have a back up care plan in place because we got almost literally just pushed out the door with little to no options or after care instructions provided to us. Currently considering moving our embryos to another clinic.

I am truly grateful to this clinic and their entire team for the exceptional care and support I received throughout my fertility journey. From the very first visit, the staff made me feel welcome, comfortable, and heard. Dr. Buyalos and the nurses were compassionate, professional, and always took the time to explain each step of the process clearly, which gave me confidence and peace of mind.
