Dr Davenport is an amazing doctor and if you need a baby he will make it happen. However, for an out of pocket not insured medical expense this rates low on my expectations. I constantly felt like a cattle being prodded for my next experiment. Going through IVF at 25 is not expected of anyone and every nurse and nurse practitioner could have several lessons in empathy. This clinic does great things but the staff needs reminders of what each patient is going through and how much they are paying to even have the possibility to be here.

I waited to do this review because I could not find the appropriate words to express how much this clinic means to me and my husband and I still don’t think I can do them justice. Dr. Davenport and his staff are absolutely amazing. I never felt like a number, but a person. Everyone was kind and empathetic during our journey. The staff has cried happy and sad tears with me. I cannot thank this team enough for helping us get here with our IVF baby. I am due in June with a beautiful baby girl and cannot wait to introduce her to all the people that helped make this happen.

Kendra is hands down the best NP I have ever seen. She is compassionate and understanding about certain situations. She was always upbeat and able to deliver even bad news with a level of positivity that not many people can. Through all of the ups and downs of our journey, she was always a constant source of reassurance. We are now 20 weeks with our sweet baby girl and so thankful for the staff at FINA.

This clinic is in a field that requires a lot of empathy and compassion. Unfortunately my husband and I did not experience this, our first consultation with the provider was very quick and un-informative. I felt talked down to and treated like we were stupid. We decided to move forward for the next appointment and was surprised to see the price without any heads up that had to be paid at the time of the appointment. There was no option to make payments towards this bill, which would be more understandable if they were more transparent with the price of this procedure- in which case I never even got a confirmation call before, and I tried reaching out twice the day before my appointment (during their short business hour window) and they still didn’t answer. The receptionist was ride annd basically told us “oh you can’t afford this, sorry – next” Overall this just caused more stress with us already in a stressed situation with struggling with infertility. After some time now I will definitely be looking for someone else that can help us build a family. I absolutely do not recommend this clinic.

It is difficult to put into words what this clinic means to our family. FINA will always hold a special place in our hearts. Infertility and IVF were the most challenging obstacles we have had to endure thus far. Dr. D, Joan, Kendra, and the entire staff were so kind and supportive to us throughout the entire process. God blessed our first embryo transfer and we are expecting our miracle baby boy early 2025… 1 year from when we started at FINA. We are looking forward to returning when we are ready to grow our family again!

I cannot recommend Dr. Davenport and his staff enough. I had a tough fertility journey with lots of roadblocks along the way. After my first consultation with him, I knew immediately he was the right doctor for me.
I also can’t say enough about how well I was treated by Kendra and Joan and the entire staff. You truly feel like more than just another patient.
I’m expecting my first baby in March thanks to the FINA team.

We had a wonderful experience at FINA! All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Kendra and Joan are so kind and compassionate. They were so supportive in some difficult times. They return phone calls and messages very quickly, unlike most doctor’s offices these days. Dr. Davenport does a great job of explaining your options and procedures without making you feel rushed to make choices. We were scheduled for an important appointment during an ice storm. They stayed open to serve the needs of their patients, which we were so grateful for. We had our precious baby boy in September.

I started my journey with this clinic in 2023. In the consultation, I didn’t know that due to his religious beliefs that we couldn’t receive further treatment. We were able to do the diagnostic procedures but nothing more due to not being married. Overall, the clinic was clean and the staff was really good. I decided to go to Huntsville Reproductive Medicine and now I have a two month old baby. If you do leave a negative review, he does in fact call and leave voicemails. I was not comfortable with talking after the last meeting with him.

I have so many wonderful things I could say about FINA, Dr. Davenport, NP Kendra, and the rest of the team. I work in healthcare and have never seen a clinic run so smoothly, efficiently, and just provide an overall pleasurable experience at every visit (which could be multiple times per week). The office staff was always kind and welcoming, if I ever had an insurance issue billing helped me resolve it quickly. They answer the phones (a luxury) and make sure to get you in for all of the timely appts. Kendra is a superhuman and made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. She welcomed my thoughts and ideas and told me I was in the driver seat and she was here to help us along the way. I never felt pressure to take any steps I was not ready to take. I wish I could continue going to FINA for my OB care. Dr. Davenport definitely knows what he is doing and was able to quickly identify the cause of my infertility and make recommendations that led to our success. We feel so blessed to have been referred here! Would recommend to all!

Dr. Davenport did an exceptional job in selecting his team as they truly provided superb medical care while displaying professionalism and support throughout our journey. Dr. Davenport and team performed flawlessly without skipping a beat in the midst of uncertainty and a statewide crisis. My family faithfully commuted 3 1/2 hours to and from each appointment without a complaint as our experience with rivaling fertility institutions were not a match for FINA’s care. There is no denying Dr. Davenport and his team are easily the top clinic in the state and I am forever grateful for them assisting in our dreams coming true.
