I truly cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this fertility clinic. From the moment I walk in, I feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Check-in always starts my visit off on the best note — Alyssa greets me with such kindness and warmth, and after just a few appointments, she began greeting me by my first name. That may seem like a small detail, but in a setting like this, it means everything. It’s something you don’t experience at many medical offices, and it immediately makes you feel seen and valued. My bloodwork experiences have also been consistently wonderful thanks to Riddni. She is always friendly, calm, and incredibly skilled — my blood draws are quick and smooth every single time. Appointments run efficiently, which I really appreciate, as I’m always able to get in and out and continue with my day. As I leave, I’m always kindly acknowledged by Nora, who makes sure I’m wished a good day on my way out. That final interaction truly completes the experience. The combination of this team makes such a difference. They make you feel like an individual, not just another patient or number. While I’ve visited other locations, including Glenview — which is clean and professional — the team at this location goes above and beyond and truly stands out. Their level of care, warmth, and attention is above standard, and they absolutely deserve recognition. I am so grateful for this team and highly recommend this clinic to anyone on their fertility journey.

Overall, I am 75% satisfied with FCI. Most of the clinical staff are super compassionate and thorough, albeit a few not-so-great ones. My favorite is Nora, the receptionist/schedular. She is compassionate, organized, always on point with a positive personality. My biggest issue is who they source out for billing and financial counseling. They seem to strive to do the least and act like they do the most. I've had at least 4 different financial consultants in less than a year. The first 3 were difficult to reach and communicate with and took an arm & a leg to get them to call back. One was outright rude. The last, 4th, one was at least nice enough to take the initiative to call and message me, but she failed to run my new insurance so put us a month behind in starting our next cycle of IVF. I'm not getting any younger here being over 40 yo. And like a previous commenter state, it is inconvenient to do the major procedures like egg retrieval and embryo transfers at the Chicago location if your preferred location is at the Hoffman Estates location. I also found it uncomfortable that they think it's okay to be asked to bring/provide a fresh sperm specimen at the Chicago location when you live almost an hour away in the suburbs then wait another half an hour for egg/sperm introduction and be told this is fine even though most fertility specialists recommend an hour max for sperm survival outside the body. We are over 40 and I felt like because of that, they should have been more consciences of our concerns and would have wanted the sperm specimen to be as fresh as possible. Also, they need to reconsider their protocol for embryo transfer. They tell you to drink plenty of water, not to pee before arriving and to bring a large container of water to drink when you're there as they need you to have a full bladder to better view the uterus under ultrasound. They also tell you to arrive half an hour early. Again, I live about an hour away from the Chicago location (give or take traffic, near Hoffman Estates location) where they do the embryo transfers, and having a full bladder for about an hour and half is crazy uncomfortable on top of the vaginal progesterone tablet leaking out and super cold procedure room making you want to pee more. Nurse was initially understanding and allowed me to pee and drink more water, half our later the US tech confirmed bladder was full, but then they made me wait another half hour before the rest of the clinical team came in. At this point I felt I was leaking because of how full my bladder was, and my subsequent "conversation" and encounter was unprofessional and uncomfortable from the nurse. She made me feel like it was my fault for not being able to hold my pee in. And other things she said made me feel humiliated all while I'm pantless, super cold, and vulnerable. Super unnecessary. I felt they could have allowed me to pee when I arrived, drink a liter of water, then wait half hour later to do the transfer and none of this would have had to happen this way.

I have been very happy with the level of care with FCI. My doctor has tailored a program that was successful for me and my nurse who Interacted almost daily with the past year is phenomenal (Alyssa out of the River North Office). Hoffman Estates is my home office and I couldn't be more pleased with the welcoming feel of this office. The front desk heroes know your name and I never have issues with them answering the phones and scheduling - there's always an appointment available when I need one. The permanent phlebotomist and ultrasound tech, Riddhi and Vita , are the absolute best. The rotating medical staff are also great when the others are ooo or working at other offices. I am so glad that this long/tough/vulnerable process is at the best office with the best team.
