I am a single Asian-American woman who went to Trianglen for a consultation with Kåre Rygaard after a failed IVF cycle at Vitanova, another fertility clinic in Denmark. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and uncomfortable. The whole consultation lasted 15 minutes. During that time, Kåre Rygaard and his nurse spoke to each other in Danish in front of me, which I found rude and inconsiderate given that I do not speak Danish. He also left the consultation partway through and just left me sitting there in the room. When he came back to our consultation, I asked him on two separate occasions why he believed my previous IVF cycle had such poor outcomes. His response was abrupt and forceful, stating that he was repeating himself and THAT IT IS JUST BIOLOGY. His manner and tone were so startling it left me feeling intimidated and unsure of how to respond. I was shaken, frozen and did not know how to react in the moment. Two weeks later, I was scheduled for a follow-up Zoom appointment with another physician Christina Norrboom, to discuss the treatment plan. I waited on the video call for over 30 minutes without any communication from Trianglen staff informing me that she would be late or unavailable. I attempted to call and email the clinic during this time but received no response; I was just left hanging there waiting for Christina Norrboom. Based on these experiences, I did not feel comfortable proceeding with treatment at Trianglen. I ultimately chose another clinic where the staff were professional, communicative, and respectful, and where care was more personalized. I went on to have a significantly better experience and a fantastic outcome with many euploid blastocysts. I essentially wasted a lot of time and money at Trianglen. I paid over 200 Euros consultation fee to get gaslit and yelled at by the doctor. There was many reasons why my cycle failed at Vitanova and I went to Trianglen to get another opinion and instead of offering me testing to figure out the medical reasons as to why my previous cycle failed, I was cheated out of time, money and also was left humiliated and gaslit. I am sharing this review so others can be aware of my experience and make informed decisions for themselves. This review reflects my personal experience with Trianglen.

I had a bad experience at another fertility clinic in Amager before coming here. It was the best decision we could have made. The doctors and nurses were extremely professional and we had a great experience at this clinic. Even though we often had different nurses and doctor’s each one seemed familiar with our treatment and always took the time to answer all of our questions. I would like to also add I was a bit nervous since I didn’t speak Danish - but it was not an issue at all.

"Wonderful Supportive Experience at Trianglen – We Would Choose Them Again!"

We had a wonderful experience during our treatment at Trianglen, where the staff were extremely kind and supportive every step of the way. We always received the needed guidance and support, and felt encouraged and informed throughout the process. If we are to have a second child, we will choose Trianglen once again. Thank you.

What is the history and background of Trianglen Fertility Clinic? expand_more
Trianglen Fertility Clinic was founded in 1993 and has grown to become one of Scandinavia’s largest fertility centres. Since its inception the clinic has performed more than 19,000 IVF/ICSI cycles and thousands of cryopreserved embryo treatments. In 2018 Trianglen joined Virtus Health, a global network of leading fertility groups, which expands its access to international research and best‑practice protocols. The clinic is accredited by Danish health authorities and follows rigorous quality‑control standards, positioning it as a trusted provider of assisted reproduction for both Danish residents and international patients.
What IVF laboratory technology does Trianglen Fertility Clinic use? expand_more
Trianglen Fertility Clinic employs advanced IVF laboratory technology to ensure the highest standards of safety and embryo quality. The clinic uses a laser-assisted hatching system that creates precise micro‑holes in the zona pellucida to facilitate blastocyst implantation. For sample tracking and error prevention, the laboratory utilizes the RI Witness system, an RFID‑based identification chip that matches each egg and sperm sample to the correct patient throughout the workflow. These technologies, combined with state‑of‑the‑art incubators and embryology expertise, support optimal embryo development and reliable embryo transfer outcomes.
Does Trianglen Fertility Clinic offer egg donation for IVF treatment? expand_more
Yes, Trianglen Fertility Clinic offers a full egg donation programme for IVF treatment. The clinic provides a short waiting time and three donor profiles: known donors, non‑ID‑release donors, and ID‑release donors, allowing recipients to choose the level of anonymity they prefer. Egg donors are screened for health, genetic background and infectious diseases, and the donation process includes hormonal stimulation, pain‑free egg retrieval, fertilisation with ICSI, and blastocyst culture. Recipient women can receive donor eggs up to the age of 46, and the resulting embryos are transferred in either a natural or hormonally prepared cycle, depending on the recipient’s menstrual regularity.
What is the maximum age for IVF treatment at Trianglen Fertility Clinic? expand_more
The maximum age for IVF treatment at Trianglen Fertility Clinic is governed by Danish law, which permits fertility treatment for women up to 46 years old. Publicly funded insemination is generally offered only to women under 41, after which IVF is recommended. The clinic follows these regulations and also assesses individual health factors, such as ovarian reserve and overall medical condition, to determine eligibility. While there is no legal age limit for male patients, women over 46 are not eligible for IVF or egg donation at the clinic.
