I had a deeply disappointing experience with FEMM, and I feel compelled to share my story to help others make informed decisions. I sought care from this practice starting in February, but numerous issues arose that ultimately led me to switch providers. I also want to note that I gave direct written feedback to FEMM (both via my portal and email) about my negative experiences and concerns, and they haven’t responded (it’s been a week and a half). Errors and Lack of Accountability: The medical provider I saw at FEMM made not one but two errors where my medical records were seemingly mixed up with another patient’s. Specifically she misread my progesterone levels and then gave me advice/prescriptions that were not meant for me (the first time I didn’t catch her error, luckily the second time I did). These mistakes led to confusion about my treatment plan and further damaged my trust in the care I was receiving. While errors happen, the handling of these incidents—where accountability and clear communication were lacking—was especially disappointing. Frequent Absences Without Backup Support: The nurse practitioner I worked with was often unavailable due to vacations or family leave. Unlike other practices where another provider steps in during absences, this clinic had no system to ensure continuity of care. I went through a pregnancy and miscarriage with this organization being the main medical manager of my hormone levels and supplementation. Later on, I found out that there was no detailed documentation of the numerous services that I received because the provider “was just reaching out as a concerned individual” during her vacation/leave and not as a medical provider when she was providing her medical services. I never agreed to this setup- I was under the impression that she was providing medical care. Unprofessional Communication: There were several instances where my concerns were either ignored or met with unclear, contradictory responses. For example, I received conflicting advice about my progesterone levels, which caused significant confusion and anxiety. When I sought clarification, my questions were often deflected or left unanswered, eroding my trust. Inconsistent Follow-Through: After expressing my concerns about these issues, I was either met with silence or incomplete resolutions. This made me feel dismissed and undervalued as a patient. I’ve since found new providers who offer consistent, professional care, and I encourage others to seek out other providers who prioritize patient trust and communication.

As a fertility educator, and someone who is very picky about their medical care, I am pleased with my care at FEMM Health Center. As someone with PCOS and Hashimoto's, my cycles were not the best. It's amazing how working with the FEMM clinic doctors has turned my cycles around. Highly recommend.

FEMM Health is supposed to be in-network for my BCBS health insurance. Something isn’t right with their coding and an office visit and $3,000+ in blood work was rejected by the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they indicated that the coding needed to be reviewed by the provider. I contacted FEMM via their online portal and was given copies of the existing lap orders and told to call the insurance company, who has already told me the coding needed to be reviewed. I don’t recommend FEMM Health Center unless you’re prepared to pay for everything out of pocket.

Kind, compassionate, these doctors LISTEN and don’t just dismiss women’s health concerns. I found they were interested in finding a diagnosis before prescribing medication, instead of using medication as a diagnostic tool before ordering any tests.

The doctors take their time to find out what the real issues are. The staff members are very friendly and caring.
