IVF clinic in Santa Catarina leaves much to be desired, with initially good communication but unhelpful responses when needing guidance.

I would like to schedule an appointment; I live in Santa Catarina. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. Initially, they respond, but when I ask for guidance on which doctor would be most suitable for my case, there is no response.

The reviewer had a poor experience with Dr. Álvaro and the finance department, citing lack of communication, misinformation, and mistakes. The treatment did not work, and the reviewer feels that the service has declined significantly since their first cyc

My first IVF cycle was in 2022, and I even gave it 5 stars at the time. Now I've had my second IVF cycle and I'm extremely disappointed with the service. Because I had already done IVF with the same doctor, Dr. Álvaro, I have a history, but it didn't help at all, unfortunately. I did all the requested tests, including the biopsy, and even without having the results in hand, they told me to continue with the treatment. In a consultation, I told the doctor that I noticed my husband's test results were lower than normal, and the doctor went to look at the test results with me. I had sent them by email as they requested, but he hadn't even looked at them. I believe that if I hadn't said anything, he wouldn't have even noticed that my husband had a very low sperm count; this showed how little attention he was paying to the tests. On the day of the collection, the doctor decided to look at the biopsy results and gave me the news that it wouldn't be possible to proceed with the transfer because I would have to treat my uterus first. This treatment was something I had already undergone in my first IVF cycle and it should have been in the record he was supposed to have seen. If they had waited for the results to proceed with the treatment, all this trouble would have been avoided. Still drowsy from the anesthesia, I was very sad. He left the room and a woman from the finance department came in, telling me that we had an amount to settle, even though we had already paid. I was drowsy and having to be charged for something I had already paid for, all due to a lack of communication and total misinformation. Afterwards, it was found that only 1 blastocyst would be frozen, and that's what happened. On a Friday, a woman from the finance department contacted my husband to inform him that there was an amount to settle for the EMBRYOS. My husband was scared because we only had 1 embryo and told her, and she claimed there was more than one embryo. We spent the whole weekend scared; I even wanted to give up because I no longer trusted them and had to turn to my psychologist for help during this time. On Monday (only) we were informed that the finance lady had made a mistake and it was only 1 embryo. We were completely distraught by the clinic's lack of empathy, leaving us desperate and offering no support. They scheduled a meeting with the doctor for further clarification, but he didn't even touch on the subject, only talking about the treatment. We weren't charged for freezing 1 embryo (because it would be unfair, it wasn't our mistake). We proceeded, they said the transfer would be done in the next cycle, but it was done in the second cycle. I underwent a 20-day course of antibiotics and the doctor assured me that there would be no problem doing the transfer in the second cycle. I trusted him and we did the transfer. During the transfer, they saw that something had been suctioned out and remained in the catheter. They reinserted the catheter and the second time they said there was nothing left in the catheter, so it had worked, it would be in the uterus. One very negative detail is that we didn't see it on TV (like in the first IVF), so I couldn't follow the process of the baby being moved from the catheter to the uterus because there wasn't a cable to connect to the TV, and they only took a picture with their cell phone, haha. We paid so much, and on the most important day of the whole treatment, we couldn't even watch it. Also, on the day of the transfer, the person from finance wanted to charge us something we had already paid for, haha. Again, a mistake by the finance department. But in short, it didn't work out; I only had one opportunity, which ended up not happening. I decided to leave a review because, unfortunately, the service from Dr. Álvaro has declined significantly. The service from the finance department—they charge without even knowing exactly what they're charging for, they don't warn you about days with extra payments, medications, etc.—they announce everything at the last minute, and the amount is high; not everyone has the money or credit limit immediately. This didn't happen before; they used to notify you in advance via WhatsApp. The nurses and attendants are still excellent, wonderful. But here's my terrible experience from a place that once made me happy, but today, I don't intend to ever go back.

We underwent IVF and prenatal care at Feliccità, led by a dedicated team of professionals. Dr. Pâmella and Dr. Claudio provided exceptional care and guidance. The staff's care and professionalism led to a successful pregnancy.

From the very first consultation, all the professionals at Feliccità were always very helpful and welcoming. We underwent several procedures at the clinic. Dr. Pâmella is a very humane, attentive, and dedicated professional who explains things in a welcoming way. She accompanied us, planned the strategies for what we would do, and always guided us every step of the way until we achieved our dream: pregnancy. The reception and nursing staff always had a smile on their faces, calling us by name and truly caring for us at every stage, especially Andressa, Yohanna, and Renata. We had prenatal care with Dr. Claudio, a very attentive and calm professional who, when I arrived at my appointment full of questions, would answer them even before I asked. He was also welcoming and provided quick guidance when necessary, as was his secretary, Cris, who was always very helpful, efficient, and attentive. The lab staff also always explained all the details to us, especially Jhuly, who accompanied us. All the professionals, Dr. Natan, Dr. Alvaro... Dr. Glaucia, nutritionist Yasmin, and nurse Juliana—all respectful and caring. I thank God for placing so many wonderful professionals to accompany us and the entire Feliccità team for all the affection, attention, and dedication in their care! We recommend the clinic for its professionalism, welcoming and well-prepared space, and qualified professionals. ❣️
