I just had my first round of egg freezing at Embryon Clinic and I genuinely cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning, I felt incredibly safe and supported. The entire team is exceptionally kind, responsive, and truly present throughout the whole process. This was my first fertility treatment, and I honestly underestimated how emotional, mental, and physical the journey would be. At every stage, the team was there if needed. They genuinely care, celebrate the wins with you, and make you feel supported. A special thank you to Miss Monica, who went above and beyond. She even called me on a Friday evening at 9pm when I had an issue, calmly guiding me through everything. She also took extra time to review my data thoroughly, and together we decided to postpone the retrieval by one day to make sure we wouldn’t potentially miss any eggs. After completing my first round, I felt an enormous sense of relief, and I’m now preparing for my second round with much more calm and confidence. One small but unexpected detail I loved: the clinic is located high up with an incredible view over the city and especially the sea, which somehow always made me feel calmer during appointments. If you’re considering egg freezing, I would wholeheartedly recommend Embryon Clinic. They truly care, they are always available, and they support you through every step of this very personal journey.

Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience with this clinic and the majority of its staff. We underwent three IVF cycles at this clinic in 2024, none of which resulted in a single embryo transfer. There is only one embryologist, Monika, who throughout our treatment appeared distant, emotionally detached, and extremely poor in communication. Transparency was lacking, and information was often incomplete or misleading. Despite repeated requests, we were never informed of the grading of our day-5 blastocysts, information to which we are legally entitled. We only received this information after all procedures had been completed. A doctor at another clinic later confirmed that some of these blastocysts were of such low quality that freezing them—let alone sending them for PGT testing—made little clinical sense. We were also not properly informed about how the GeSY subsidy works. As a result, we were unable to claim most of the subsidy, since none of the cycles concluded with an embryo transfer. When we asked specific questions about testing methods, we were given no meaningful explanations and were referred to a provider in Greece, who completely ignored our requests. Nurses and paramedical staff are not employed in-house, meaning different individuals were involved each time, often performing their duties inconsistently and in a questionable manner. Dr. Sotiris deserves specific mention. His views on reproductive medicine appear outdated, closer to the 1990s than current evidence-based practice. He repeatedly stated that women above a certain age must undergo PGT testing to rule out Down syndrome, and did so in a threatening manner, which I found completely unacceptable coming from a doctor. We experienced significant pressure to proceed with costly and, in our case, unnecessary PGT testing. He continuously encouraged additional IVF cycles under the justification of “maximizing chances,” while paradoxically prescribing the same low-dose hormonal protocol each time, despite consistently poor results. His approach appeared one-size-fits-all, prioritizing clinic profit over individualized patient care. Overall, this experience was deeply distressing and nearly shattered our hope of having a child. A substantial amount of money was spent with no results, valuable time was lost, and the emotional toll is difficult to put into words. The only apparent positive is the lower pricing compared to more established clinics—but unfortunately, it seems true that you get what you pay for. The unusually high number of positive reviews compared to very few negative ones raises concerns about their authenticity. Finally, in my view, advertising “success” by posting photos of newborns on their website and social media feels tasteless and desperate to attract customers. Please research thoroughly and consider all options carefully before choosing the right clinic for your IVF treatment. I sincerely wish everyone facing infertility strength, resilience, and the ability to keep hope alive.

We are so ever grateful to Embryon Clinic. After many years of attempts in a couple of clinics in Cyprus; at Embryon, we felt the difference in the level of care, due diligence and genuine eagerness to make our first attempt successful. It is an unmatched reassurance knowing that together with the endocrinologist, there is a gynecologist working onsite and together, they follow all the steps of the journey. This makes a huge positive difference in the level of care received. With the duo Gynecologist and Embryologist working together in the same clinic (Father and daughter by the way), there were detailed investigations of our medical history, which revealed issues on both of us that the other clinics had not investigated or just told us that they were no big deal. The appropriate time was taken to fix those issues, retest and make sure that everything is in order. We agreed to and followed the recommendations of both doctors regarding detailed tests, habits and procedures which could enhance the chances of conception. After the transfer, it was with extreme joy that we read the positive pregnancy test results and, a week after; hearing the fetus's heartbeat brought tears of joy in our eyes. Thousand thanks to everyone at Embryon. We wish all the best to anyone going through the same journey.
