My first experience at CReATe Fertility was amazing. The most important thing that someone experiencing fertility issues need is kindness and I can say I got that in spades at this clinic. The receptionist Kim was very warm and pleasant. She wait time was extremely short and paperwork surprisingly simply to start. I then met with Dr. Akingbola and i was pleasantly surprised. His manner was very warm and welcoming. He made me feel as if what I had to say was important and he listened. He was very reassuring and clear about what the next steps were. I left his office feeling the best I have in weeks!

Dr Akingbola and the staff are wonderful and thorough. He has a very funny, dry sense of humour which i appreciated as Fertility appts can feel quite heavy and stressful

I thought a lot about whether or not to post this review, but it may help a lot of other people, so I decided it's in the general best interest. Let me just clarify that the nurses at this clinic are fantastic and do a wonderful job. This review is not for the nurses, but for those who provide medical direction. My experience at Durham Fertility has left me deeply disappointed. Despite expressing concerns about a family history of endometriosis and severe pain, my concerns were consistently ignored. Only after repeated insistence did any action occur. After three painful and unsuccessful procedures, I demanded to speak with the specialist to reiterate my case. Despite voicing concerns about endometriosis, it was only after my persistence that I was referred to a surgeon. Subsequent surgery confirmed my diagnosis. Throughout, I felt unsupported and uninformed about my options. The rushed decision-making and lack of consideration for the financial burden added to my distress. I am now out over $3,000 due to lack of care taken with my diagnosis. This experience has left me disillusioned with the care at Durham Fertility. Patients deserve better. I know endometriosis is a prevalent issue and is often misdiagnosed, but when you go to a specialist, they should take proper care in diagnosing you, especially when you are spending thousands of dollars (in this economy!). **PS. I did write a letter to the facility voicing these concerns, but a response was not received. I urge Durham Fertility to take this feedback seriously and improve patient care.
