I am sharing this review to help protect other young women, especially teenagers and those in their early 20s, who may be considering care at this clinic. I began working with Conceptions Fertility Center when I was 18 years old after being told my AMH and follicle count were low for my age. Based on this information, egg freezing was presented as a recommended option. At the time, I did not feel that I was given full, balanced context or that other possible contributing factors (such as stress, under-eating, or overall health) were explored before discussing an extremely expensive and emotionally charged intervention. Being told at such a young age that I might not be able to have children caused significant emotional distress and deeply altered my life plans. I canceled a planned LDS mission, missed a semester of college, and spent six months doing door-to-door sales trying to earn money for egg freezing, all while experiencing intense stress, under-sleeping, and under-eating. As the process continued, I realized that the total cost, medication expenses, and realistic success rates were not clearly explained upfront. After starting birth control in preparation for egg retrieval, I ultimately had to cancel because I could not afford the medications. After canceling, I received calls and texts from doctors and nursing staff offering discounts and encouraging me to move forward (Which I understand could have been perceived as “kindness”), but felt like pressuring for their own financial gain, given my age, true health state, financial situation, and emotional state. I later conceived naturally, which suggests that the urgency and framing I experienced may not have been appropriate in my case. There is a lack of examination of the true rooted issue of why those numbers were low, which was very easily discovered with one lab test and a Google Search and then validation from a different doctor. I understand. This could’ve been ignorance, or a lack of understanding, but with such a fragile expensive process, needed to have been treated with more care. T hey really shouldn’t be engaging in such invasive treatments without looking at the full picture. I am not writing this out of anger, but out of responsibility. I strongly encourage this clinic to use greater caution, transparency, and contextual evaluation when counseling very young patients, and I urge other young women to ask detailed questions, seek second opinions, and fully understand all factors before making major decisions. I’m lucky I didn’t go Forward with the process, would have put me an extreme debt at such a young age and further would have dramatically changed my life plans

Had a billing issue where I was unfairly billed for a consultation I had no idea I would be charged for, and contacted them to hopefully get my bill reversed. I was promptly responded to, and pleasantly surprised that they disputed the bill and gave me a one time courtesy due to not previously signing a financial agreement at the consultation. I truly am grateful as most places can fight you tooth and nail for your money when it wasn't originally disclosed. Thank you for your wonderful, and understanding customer service!

I started seeing Conceptions after a poor experience with a different provider. From the very beginning, I felt as if the entire Conceptions team really cared about me and my experience. I truly felt more than just a number or another patient in the system which I struggled with at a different clinic. Every step of the way, I always felt like I was informed and supported. If I ever had questions come up, the team was only ever a call away. Most importantly, Conceptions helped my husband and I reach our ultimate goal. After 3 failed IUIs, 1 egg retrieval, and 1 failed FET, we were finally blessed with our beautiful baby boy as a result of our second FET. We credit every bit of the ability to grow our family to Dr Moore and the entire Conceptions team!

Spent thousands of dollars did all these test for the doctor who wasn’t even present for the testing to have a 5 minute conversation and take a “educated guess “ but also say it wasn’t a guess because he didn’t want to put his name on it

This place was awesome! The nurse practitioners and nurses were so sweet and compassionate. All my questions were promptly answered and I really felt supported through the whole process. I had control over how fast me and my husband worked through the fertility process. I now have a sweet baby boy, and if I still lived in Utah I would be going back here for any future fertility treatments!
