Patient experienced severe overstimulation, poor communication, and a painful recovery under Dr. Kenneth Vu's care. Clinic's calls were unreachable, and the doctor did not have a steady hand for surgery. Patient strongly advises against working with Dr. V
I know Dr. Vu moved to RSMC. As a patient, I have to talk about my experience under his care. During my cycle with Dr. Kenneth Vu, I was severely overstimulated, which led to a miserable, painful recovery that I believe could have been avoided with proper monitoring. When I tried to get help afterward, Dr. Vu never returned a single call. The clinic’s calls came from “No Caller ID,” making it almost impossible to reach anyone or get follow-up care. I don’t want to talk about this horrible experience anymore, but if you do come to RSMC, avoid Dr. Kenneth Vu. In my experience, he did not have a steady hand for surgery, and my recovery was miserable.

My daughter has always been a strong and successful phenomenal patient. With extreme high success… But every experience is only as smooth and safe as the care team around her. This time, two extraordinary professionals Michelle Corpuz, MS-RN and Haley Eichhorn, MS-RN, both serving as OR/Recovery Nurses went above and beyond anything we’ve ever encountered.
From the moment we entered pre-op, Michelle and Haley displayed the kind of bedside manner that cannot be taught, it must be deeply rooted in empathy, integrity, and true commitment to patient care. They were warm, kind, inviting, and incredibly thorough. Every detail, from communication to comfort, was met with care. They didn’t just care for my daughter medically, they made sure she felt emotionally safe and energetically supported. They took my concerns seriously, they asked the right questions, and they made us feel like we mattered!!!!! These two deserve five stars, unfortunately this review is receiving one star because of Dr. Kenneth K.C. Vu.
When someone is about to undergo a procedure, energy and frequency in the room matters just as much as the technical skill. Michelle and Haley brought peace, compassion, and professionalism into every moment. My daughter felt it. I felt it. Even other nearby patients and family noticed their presence. They didn’t rush us, they didn’t ignore us, and they treated her like a whole person, not a number or just another case. They are exactly who you want next to you in a vulnerable medical setting, and I truly believe they both deserve not only acknowledgment, but promotion and leadership roles if they aren’t already in them.
In contrast and I must be honest here the experience we had with the operating physician was jarring to say the least!!
Dr. Kenneth K.C. Vu. When I asked a very basic and relevant question about which medications would be given to my daughter during the procedure, his reaction was rude, abrupt, and dismissive. His words were: “You need to ask the anesthesiologist about that.” with more added I must say…. Not only was this information commonly known and simple for him to address, but the tone he used was far from professional. It felt hostile, cold, and as if our concern was somehow a bother. I wasn’t the only one who felt that way others who witnessed the exchange agreed it was unnecessarily aggressive and off-putting. My daughter herself later told me she felt the same discomfort. not to mention, even going to the appointments leading up to the retrieval. My daughter words were “you can tell he is just there for strictly work & just to go home he does not care about his patients or even having minimal bond with them. He is there for the money & that is it.”
No one especially a young woman undergoing an intimate, serious procedure should ever feel that kind of coldness or energetic rejection from the person operating on them. A doctor should never lead with ego or impatience, especially when their hands are about to touch someone’s body. There was nothing welcoming, comforting, or humane about his presence. And frankly, he should NOT be the face of ANY egg donor organization, because emotional safety is just as critical as surgical success.
Dr. Kenneth K.C. Vu. With over three decades of specialized experience in reproductive medicine, I’d ASSUME he had education on bedside manner!
Dr.Vu will NEVER operate on my daughter again… Dr. Kenna B. Schnarr will be requested going forward!
Thanks to the grace, groundedness, and nurturing professionalism of Michelle Corpuz and Haley Eichhorn, this experience remained positive. But make no mistake they carried this experience. They were the light in a situation that could have otherwise felt entirely different. And for that, I am beyond grateful.
And for anyone that needs to know, San Diego location is better too because of Dr. Ho

UPDATE** no reach out and no, the AI bot of a response is wrong. Dr Behbahani from her conversation with us gave the clinic notice 2023 about her decision to leave. This clinic is just horrible!! Use here as a last resort!!
My Fiance and I had booked an appointment with Dr Behbehani after seeing great reviews on Google and Yelp. The office fit us in to see the doctor very quickly, we had a zoom initial consult followed by an in person ultrasound. We first contacted Dr Behbehani on 2/1/24 and saw her on 2/10/24. Great over zoom. Had an ultrasound appointment 2 weeks later. This is where things changed. All of the providers we had seen were the same, $250-400 for the visit which included an in person ultrasound. She was quick with the ultrasound and she confirmed what she had said over zoom and was quick to make sure we schedule the next steps. When we got the results for our blood work, she schedules a call on 3/1/24 and she tells us that she’s leaving the clinic she’s with on 4/1/24 and won’t be starting a new clinic till mid to end of April 😳. We had driven 1.5 hours to see her in Irvine. She knew how old my fiance was and told us she doesn’t recommend we follow her and that we get started on the cycle soon. With another provider. Why would someone not tell us this? How is this ok? Who just has $500 to splurge on an appointment they know won’t work out? I really don’t know who to blame here but I do blame the doctor as they willfully took our money knowing they won’t be able to complete our process there. Feel bad for others either before us who didn’t finish or others after us who still get “first time consults” knowing it’ll be their last with her. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary.
